What's new

This is why some JazzFanz wanted Schröder rather than Trey Burke??

Yes! Draft this kid. Don't we have like the 13th pick or something. He should be available then. I sure hope with the later pick we get that Gobert kid. That would be cool!

Wow, that is quite some revisionist history to say that some Jazz fans wanted Schroeder. Everyone knows that jazz fans were unanimous in their desire to draft Michael Carter Williams.

I dunno guys...almost felt like cousins was flopping.... Shroeders hand was in the vicinity and cousins grabbed it and moved it further in trying to force three call.

Or perhaps it was an invitation?

Sent from your moms room.... While she was sleeping.

For the record I was for Schroeder the whole way, but like what we accomplished with Burke. That said, I love this from this kid. If there is one guy in the league to do that to to get him to react and hurt his own team it is D Cousins. Love this.

Are you even a man? I would't curse that on anyone.

I wasn't for Schroeder at #13. I was thinking Olynyk at that spot and then Schroeder with the 2nd pick (trade up). Thrilled with Gobert, though. He's going to be the steal of the draft relative to position picked (well, perhaps other than MCW). Unfortunately, I don't share the same belief with Burke. He's small and had difficulty even getting his shot off in summer league. I think Trey will be packaged down the road for a better PG. Neto isn't the answer, either, but he could be a decent backup.

Are you being serious? I read most of the draft thread and I would say the Burke and Schroeder were the top 2 PGs probably followed by CJ and the MCW.
