Ya I dont have tik Tok but I have nieces and nephews who are addicted to it.

Heard a guy (crime and terrorism analyst Brad Garrett) on our local news radio discussing this ban and the reasoning behind it and he seemed to believe that China was using tik Tok against us in the US

well in China i believe it's switched off after 10 pm or something like that And it's algorithm pushes stuff like maths and science into kid's feeds. Not the self absorbed narcissism promoting drivel that happens here

I’m much more worried about the oligarch who owns another social media company who has turned the world’s best delivery system of information to a disinformation and racist fever swamp. He’s actively rooting for Putin while possessing several important contracts with the American government. This man and the power he possesses is just so dangerous.
 
Another app will pop up in it's place. I don't like censorship. The app sucks and China has definitely used it for not great reasons, but I'm firmly against banning it or any other app. If you don't like it don't use it. If you don't want to let your kids use it don't let them. There's plenty of terrible stuff on the internet I can go to or avoid on my own. The last thing I need is the government involved. The fact this has been such a big thing for government is beyond dumb and a waste of time and money.

I had no idea how trump felt about it but you obviously do which I’m sure dictated your opinion on it. Not everyone obsesses about trump like you idiots.

Haha! You can deny it all you want, but there’s plenty of evidence here that you obsess about trump constantly. The proof is in the pudding dum dum. You talk about Trump more than any person I've ever met. I'm being 100% honest. It's just ironic that you hatefully accuse others of being in a cult when your obsession with him is second to none. The thing is, you can't even debate what you think because all you have is Nick at Nite telling you what to think. I have never seen you have an open honest debate. Just Nick at Nite propaganda. That actually goes for most here... Red, Thriller, Log, the Assassin... They can't have debate. @One Brow is the only one that has the ability to back up his claims.

If I'm wrong show me another poster here that talks about Trump every day, multiple times a day like you do. Uh huh is right

It really is for your best interest to give it a rest. It’s not healthy to let someone control your life and dictate all your thoughts and opinions. You shouldn’t let someone like trump have total and complete control over you. If all your opinions have to be the opposite of what trump thinks your just as small brained and cultish as the trump followers you hate so much. I think you’ve just been caught in the feedback loop of posting something about trump to get likes from the other obsessed folks here. The amount of hate and obsession that you guys encourage from each other is insane.

I dont think its entirely all your fault that you can’t form an opinion of your own though. It’s been really easy to get by in the world without ever thinking for yourself. You were probably raised by the tv like so many others. So many folks that can’t imagine the tv that raised them has been lying to them their entire lives. America hasn’t been raising a lot of critical thinkers the last few generations that’s for sure.

The only reason the government wants to ban tik tok is because it’s a narrative they can’t control. That’s it. That’s the whole story.
