Had some bad weather in Utah today. A small tornado touched down in Washington Terrace just south of Ogden. Here is a video I found showing it from a distance. If I get a chance I'll post some pictures. It destroyed at least one house and apparently as many as a dozen were rendered uninhabitable at least temporarily. Not the standard stuff for Utah that's for sure.

The KSL news story linked to that video said the storm came in at 3am. Your post is at 3am today. You describe it as today. How is the video during day light hours?

Something tells me you arent being 100% honest about this.

You try to hard.

Case in point.

Hack, you'd be a much better poster if you just posted instead of playing a part.

Nah. This worthless character is far better than when he actually posts.

The storm hit at about 4 yesterday afternoon. The tornado passed within a block of my parents house where I was visiting. Being that close the wind rain and hail were fierce. We drove through afterward and it wasn't hard to follow the path the storm took from Riverdale moving east across the Terrace and identify the spots it touched down. Crazy.

Barely noticed a thing and I was six blocks away.

One real "gust" knocked some shingles off roof across the street, and a storm gutter got blown off, but no other wind event, really. Lots of water in a 20 minute time, however.

I love how in the wake of a natural disaster that members of the community were within blocks of the interest of the community is to try to inanely one-up each other.

Talked to a buddy who lives in one of the older apartment complexes in the area that was closer to the tornado than I was remark that the crappy (paraphrased) building he lives in with 40 year old shingles held up fine while the newer condo/apartments a few hundred feet away had a lot of their roofs/shingles removed.

My Mother lives in the terrace as well. I grew up just east of Bonneville High School.
