Trade Deadline Thread (Non-Jazz)

Final information on Redick deal:

Orlando sent Redick, Gustavo Ayon, and Ish Smith to the Bucks.
Milwaukee sent Doron Lamb, Beno Udrih, and Tobias Harris to the Magic.

It's a bit sad when the biggest trade of deadline day is headlined by Redick. No offense to Redick though as he is having a great year.

Phoenix sends backup guard Sebastian Telfair to Toronto for big man Hamed Haddadi.
The Knicks deal Ronnie Brewer to the Thunder for a future second-round pick.
The Celtics pick up Wizards guard Jordan Crawford for injured guard Leandro Barbosa and Jason Collins.
Memphis adds Heat reserve big man Dexter Pittman for a second-round pick.
Oklahoma City trades backup guard Eric Maynor to Portland for a trade exception.
The Bucks pick up J.J. Redick, Ish Smith and Gustavo Ayon from the Magic for Beno Udrih, Doron Lamb and Tobias Harris.
The Hawks trade Anthony Morrow to the Mavs for defensive stopper Dahntay Jones.
The Bobcats pick up Josh McRoberts from the Magic for Hakim Warrick.
The Golden State Warriors traded Jeremy Tyler to Atlanta and Charles Jenkins to Philadelphia in moves designed to avoid luxury taxes.
Damn.

I missed a couple of deals the Warriors made to get under the tax threshold. Jeremy Tyler was sent to the Hawks (with some money) for future draft considerations. Charly Jenkins was traded to the 76ers (also with money) for a protected 2nd round draft pick.

Good luck seeing the ball in Milwaukee JJ. Jennings and Ellis throw up 35 shots a game between them. I'm not really understanding that move anyway from a Bucks standpoint- Dunleavy is having a great year shooting the ball.

I guess they figure Ellis and/or Jennings will be gone after this season. Although Redick will be an FA too.

I wonder if a deal for Jennings fell through at the last minute and they made this deal anyway.

That trade* makes no sense at all if Ellis still gonna play 35 minutes per game. If it is going to help to control Ellis nonsense by the force of of having a decent alternative it could make sense. But still its a move for just saving the day (1/2 rental of Reddick) by Hammond. At least Jazz don't have a GM like Hammond. Its better not make move if your moves gonna look like that. If i was Ilyasova&Dunleavy (first shots % 0.444 latter % 0.434 from downtown) i would really be annoyed. Best shooters at the team gonna get lesser thouchs, ball hoggers still gonna shoot when and where they want.
