Did anyone from here used to post in the Salt Lake Tribune Forums before they got rid of it?

It would have been a good 7-8 years ago.

I did back when it was a dial-up bbs, so like 25 years ago.

I did a bit. Came across it one day around '04-'05 when I was helping my son research Jerry Sloan. I don't remember my username at all - it wasn't anything related to what I signed up with at Jazzfanz.

Moe.

Pearl Watson/Millsapa came from there and Babe followed. They called him Babble lol.

I tried to e-stalk Millsapa and followed her there in it's declining years.

I was part of a few other jazz forums around 2003-2005 but I can't remember the names but I'm wondering if that was one of them.

yep, she was Shelley_Utah_Jazz or something like that and for a while she had Marge Simpson as her image. Funny that I remember her name but not my own! We even engaged in a couple of conversations too.

There was somebody called "Voice of Reason" or something like that who seemed to be very polarizing. He (or she?)was either very pro- or very anti- Jerry Sloan, I don't remember which.

Wind of Change was very ant Sloan, kind of like me as well. Voice of Reason was pro Sloan. There were numerous great posters with great basketball knowledge - magnus, trollificus,MTJazz, zerogravity and a few I can't remember from top of my head.

Ha! Same.

Voice of Reason was possibly the biggest tool I've ran into on the internet. He rivals our dregs.

There were some incredibly funny posters in the general forum if you can handle trollish humor. Was Jason the name of the one who played the arrogant, pompous tough guy who always posted pictures of beachfront views, piles of cash, & new TV's? That guy was hilarious while getting under people's skin Jason Jason Jason. I'm childish, I know.

The asshelmets.com crew was hilarious as well. babe, who was the guy who had that avatar .gif of the fat guy freaking out and spinning in circles?

I was going to mention Magnus and Trollificus. I know they are registered here but haven't been able to find them out. Great bball minds. Maybe I'll start trolling their forum again with Phunk to figure it.

Who were you on there? AKMVP?

I figured that Log here was there as Little Elvis or something like that. Didn't all add up, but Reno is Reno, after all. . . . how many people could share that?

I'm surprised we haven't resurrected the endless anti-Mo dude with the post/cut and paste/ delete/ repost routine.... what was his name? BishopC or what. I had great fun putting him back a page.

Then there was DavidW, and the SUWA commie whatshisname. . . . . . . when I first went there I pretended to be someone else, and sorta played their team. They had a mentor or supervisor back in Connecticut, and were, essentially, a sort of "
change agent" internet dominance team, with communist inspiration and a big gig on sinking religion.

ForverJazz, Skiier and Bosinan_Mafia were some of the guys I remember the most.

I was Williamsfan11 back then. I literally posted on there when I was 10-12 years old. I'm sorry for anybody who had to read some of the stuff I said. I used to post a different trade idea every other day. Lol

Lol I hated you for that:). Now knowing that you were just kid makes me feel bad. Sorry bud.

There was one dude even more anoying than you. Dreamlander from Turkey. He was huge Okur and Hedo Turkoglu homer. Okur was better than Shaq and Turkoglu was second best forward after LeBron for him. He would constantly argue about that and post trades which would end up the same - Jazz getting Turkoglu.

Ah, that's the guy. No way Little Elvis 8 was log though. You come up with some weird theories. There are some hilarious people here and Loggrad is one of the top but none of them could pull off the LE8 act.

yeah Elvis was something special. Log is way too nice to match it... although his poop/diarrhea stories were quite up to par with Elvis's weird stuff.
