Barring a bombshell revelation regarding the Clinton campaign Trump will take his toys and go home soon.

Does anyone think he will stick it out when it becomes obvious that he has no chance of winning?

He will stay in it to the end. I have my doubts that it was ever about winning. It was about publicity, fame and attention. It's a reality show, why skip the season finale?

Maybe. And good points. But I think he's too thin-skinned to stick it out.

He works really hard though, str8line.

I don't see it as thin skinned at all. I see him as relishing those moments because it provides a chance to be outrageous. It is the best thing he has going for himself. He's a brawler, no finesse and no strategy. Just media haymakers.

Barring some kind of complete mental breakdown where he has to be hospitalized, I don’t see Trump quitting. His supporters would never forgive him, his business interests would take a major hit and historically he would be seen as the biggest clown in presidential election history. His mental health would be argued over and psychoanalyzed for decades. Much better for him, at least in his eyes, is to lose, even in a landslide, and assuage his ego by claiming the election was rigged. The real question is what will happen if/when Trump loses and he actually does claim the election was rigged. If he really presses the issue, it could be an ugly, violent transition to a Clinton presidency.

He has been laying the ground work for that since the primaries.

I hope he doesn't. Not only will he lose the elections, but he'll possibly cost the GOP their senate majority, eventually. We can finally pass laws again.

I think a mental breakdown might not be too far off though. As the tide of republicans coming out against him swells there will at some point be a total turn against him. Then he will increase the frequency and magnitude of his "haymakers" until he becomes the biggest laughingstock in history. It will make the Hindenberg look like a sparkler.

Not to mention the damage it'll do to his "brand" but not to worry, I'm sure there's a spot reserved for him on the next season of Duck Dynasty.

TBH I'm not sure which is worse.

Don't worry. Obama had a super majority in the senate for 2 years and still couldn't get **** done. Either way, I'm sure Hillary will preach liberal values but govern as a moderate at best - it'll be the same mediocrity as usual.

And as I predicted this before the convention - if Trump loses he'll spend literally the rest of his life suing the federal government.

Hillary works very hard at hiding all her shady dealings. Trump owns up to his failures and his successes. Hillary is your typical sociopath. Mr Trump has a conscience an cares for human beings.

Payscale.com says Trump International pays average of $15/hr for employees 1-4 years an over $18 for more years experience.
You will not find this kind of pay at Walmart Micky D's or Burger King.
Trump pays what the libbies are demanding for minimum wage. He is a good man.

Trump and mother Theresa. Two peas in a pod

Understandably, a great many Republicans would like to see him exit at this point:

But, as others have pointed out, he also seems to be setting the stage for de-legitimizing the election. Given that his core followers have basically bought into a personality cult, and given that they number in the millions, and they will buy anything he sells to them, he is possibly laying the groundwork for damaging American democracy beyond the election. We can hope not, but certainly Trump will always put himself before his country. I'm sure he could not care less, and is capable of causing a lot of post election chaos...

Oh yay. I have been feigning (or is it jonesing?) for more laws.

Seems like forever since someone has given more things I can't do.
