Utah Jazz becoming Memphis Grizzlies?

Kanter, Gobert, & Favors on paper we should see the Jazz getting back to the defensively dominant team we used to be during the Stockton-Malone days. But where is our scoring going to come from?

I expected big things from Hayward after that 34 point outburst at the end of 2012 season, but he seems inconsistent. Maybe TyCo has something to do with that by shuffling him in and out of the starting lineup, but I think more firepower or we will look like how Memphis looked against San An this playoffs; not enough players who can put the ball in the basket.

If Trey Burke is who we think he is then our prayers have been answered :D

Unfortunately we may not have the high draft pick we are hoping for. Not with all these teams tanking.

One thread says limit expectations of Trey Burke, the other says he may be our savior

Whatever else Burke is or isn't atleast he is not broken.

Suns' first-round draft pick Alex Len has ankle surgery for the second time in two months cbsprt.co/10TajHF Right ankle this time.

Dallas Mavericks rookie guard Shane Larkin broke his ankle in summer-league practice and is expected to be sidelined two to three months, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

If Len and Noel are injury riddled their whole career Gobert just might end up the best big of this draft. Crazy.

I think the Jazz are lined up to be like a more athletic version of the Memphis Grizzlies. However, they'll add to this an All Star-caliber player in this upcoming draft. The Jazz should also have better interior defense, as Zach Randolph is not that solid defensively.

I think Burke will end up at least as good as Conley. For one thing, Burke can shoot. He's also probably a better pick-and-roll player.

People have very high expectations of Burke because he was POTY in college and went to the NCAA finals. He's falling short of those expectations right now, but it's still very very early. He's also still a very good player, even if he fails to live up to potential All Star expectations.
