Want some cheap season tickets (as low as $44) on the last 2 rows upper bowl? "Pay the Pick"

Kind of cool. Guarantees you a seat to some sweet games and you could easily move down to better seats when weaker teams come to town. Only 500 available though so act fast! It was just announced. The downside is if the Jazz have a crap lottery draw and get the 7 pick then you're suddenly getting boned for $7/seat for the last row too.

Here’s how it works: Your season ticket price (per seat, per game) is determined by the draft pick the Jazz receive in the NBA Draft Lottery, which will be held on May 20. Under the “Pay the Pick” promotion, an upper-level season ticket could be priced as low as just $44, with the cost per game equaling the draft slot the Jazz receive during the Draft Lottery. For example, if the Jazz get the No. 1 pick, the price would be $1 per seat, per game—making it just $44 for the season (for 41 regular-season games and three preseason games).

Promotional seats are located in sections 101–105, 119–125, and 139–140 (rows 20–22) Click Here for the Seating Map
Availability limited to only 500 seats
Limit of four seats per household
Tickets are only available via Flash Seats (our paperless, electronic ticketing system)
Promotional offer does NOT include any 44 United Season Ticket Member benefits
Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable
Price valid for the 2014-15 regular season only
First right of refusal for 2015 Playoff seats (Playoff tickets are subject to price increase)
$44 per seat is due at the time of purchase
Final balance will be automatically charged by May 21 (the day after the NBA Draft Lottery)

So tempting, even though the seats suck getting two season tickets for about $250 (if they land in the lottery) would be sweet.

WOW, what a deal.

Nosebleed Edmonton Oilers tickets cost $70. I am not ****ting you. Our team hasn't made the playoffs since 2006.

Interesting concept. For your info, the expected cost is $181.

Here's the math using the odds given in the ad: ($1*.104 + $2*.112 + $3*.121 + $4*.099 + $5*.373 + $6*.177 + $7*.014)*44 = $180.928

So if the Jazz trade away their 1st round picks...does that mean Free Season Tickets?

Fortunately, I think the language prevents the Millers from trading out to the 30th pick and sticking the fans for $1320.
Probably just me, but I wouldn't buy tickets in that area of the ESA. I'd rather watch the game at home where I have a better view of the action and much more reasonably priced concessions of my choosing.

Rigby said they sold 430 of the 500 available. The offer goes one more week or until the ticks are gone.

Wish I lived closer to downtown, and had a little extra cash.

Two tickets is almost cheaper than 5 months of cable tv.

Now lemme teach you some chanting besides offense defense.

Eminonu yaleli eminonu yalelii heey

.....I'm confused! Is the price $44 dollars for a season ticket that includes 41 home games......or......is it $44 dollars PER GAME? $44 dollars per game would not be a "deal"......it would be like Jessie James sticking a gun in your ribs and robbing you, plain and simple!!!

If the Jazz get the #1 pick, it's $44 for the SEASON. That is, $1 per game. (41 regular season games + 3 preseason games)

If they get the #2 pick, it's $88 for the season.

Etc.

Add in the cost of a couple of drinks and other food/snacks, parking and binoculars to see those tiny stick figures doing whatever they're doing on the court.
No thanks! I prefer the recliner, flat screen, and telling the old lady to go grab me a cold one. Well, I can tell her at least...but the chances of actually getting something are remote.

If it's not lower bowl, I'd rather watch every game at home. Upper deck has way too many kids and older jocks trying to sound smart about the game saying things such as 'Pound the paint, G-Time!' and 'Evans would be an All-Star if we gave him 40 minutes a game'.

.....well, nobody threw your brains to the hogs, that's for sure!

I agree. If they were center upper bowl I'd think about it. I love those seats.
