What's new

We already have a stretch 4

Wake up Utah! It is Trevor Booker. What you think the Quinn Snyder has been developing? A five million dollar throw away benchie? No chance my friends let me explain to you why.

Originally traded with future pick by Utah Jazz with Giricek for Kyle Korver. Getting rid of trashicek for Korver, nuff said. Trevor was destined to be Jazz man 3 years time before he becomes NCAA.

Booker shoots only 10 threes in four years time before coming Utah.

He shoots 84 last year with 34.5% makes. Dont call me troll ok but I think this is close to above league averages. Pretty good for guy that do not shoot ever in career.

Mid range game is off the hook charts, yo. Above 40's around. You cannot run him off line.

Career similarity scores. Cliff Robinson and Vlady Radmanovich. I love me some Cliff n Vlady.

What you think he works on this summer? Three points. I bet you twenty dollars he shoots 500 threes everyday to become 40% shooter in next season.

I love the post....but is it drunk posting this time of night? Lol
For any of the drinking Jazz nerds we should go watch son summer league games then go get some drinks after. We might make more sense in person.

There is a difference between a stretch 4 and a PF who shoots 3's.

One stretches teh floor and has "gravity" as in defenses actually pay attention to them out there.

Booker is more a PF who shoots 3's sometimes, it doesn't really help spacing as much as it takes advantage of the lack of spacing we have.

Booker's inconsistent and flingy release doesn't really give me too much hope that he becomes a consistent 35% 3pt shooter on enough attempts for it to move the needle.

We don't need a "stretch 4" per say as much as we need a "stretch big." We need someone that they have to put their big guy on to pull out of the paint. i.e. someone 6'10" or bigger. Not someone who's 6'7" that they can switch their 2 guard on if needed.

Yes we know. You want a David Lee. Shut the **** up boi.

I like Booker. Still trying to figure out how he fits AND gets meaningful minutes. Not sure that can happen. I'm thinking match at this point and look to trade him to a contender. He has real trade value, not like Marvin and a few other sidekicks we've had to watch the last few seasons.
