Look at the west this year. It's deep right? Two teams above .500 are not even in the playoffs. But what about next year? I think next year will be even deeper tbh

Warriors
Blazers
Rockets
Thunder
Clippers
Pelicans
Spurs
Mavs
Grizz
Suns
Jazz

That's 11 teams that will be fighting for the playoffs next year. And I think the Wolves and Lakers will be much improved. So possibly up to 13 out of 15 teams fighting for the playoffs.

Could it be possible that of the top 16 teams in the league that 10-12 are west teams? Thoughts?
 
There will be no East / West segregation next year, Adam Silver will make sure of it.

First of all, the Lakers will probably be worse next year than they are this year....if that is possible! The T-Wolves should be in the D-League. And the Mav's are toast with an older over the hill roster, no cap space and disgruntled players! The Suns are falling apart at the seams.....and the Thunder may be broken up as well, with Durant and Westbrook contracts sucking all the juice out of that roster!

Lol at the Thunder comment.
Lakers will have Kobe and Randle back and are already being tied to Rondo.
Wolves will have a year under Wiggins belt and improved chemistry.
I never truly count out the Mavs due to Cubans pockets. Same with the Spurs and their FOs genius.

.....Lakers being "tied" to Rondo? Big deal! Infact, turrible deal! Here's the truth about Rondo....although we already knew this!
