The more I think about this the more I'm liking the Noah Vonleh & K.J. McDaniels combo for the Jazz....
Vonleh is the perfect complement to Favors. He can shoot the mid range. He can shoot the 3's. He can defend way out to the 3pt line. He can handle the ball like a guard. He's basically EVERYTHING that Favors is not. And if we're SOLD on Favors, I think Vonleh is just a great complementary piece.
K.J. McDaniels I think is a poor man's Aaron Gordon for this draft and a potential Kawhai's Lite 3-4 years from now. He defends. He rebounds. He can score a bit too. I think he's a great pick up at #23.
Together these 2 players could help form this lineup in 2-3 years time which to me is pretty SOLID and very well balanced:
Burke
Hayward/Burks
McDaniels
Vonleh/Kanter
Favors/Gobert
Burks & Kanter form the basis of the 2nd unit off the bench. Favors is the anchor. Vonleh is that stretch 4 who can defend. McDaniels hopefully can turn into a Kawhai lite. I like the way Favors & Vonleh complements each other up front and hopefully a nice defensive presence in McDaniels in the future. Gobert backs up Favors at the C position.

Enough about me - who's YOUR #5 and #23 combo???? And how would your team look like 2-3 years from now????
