Makes me wonder. Why can't we get Kanter & Favors to work with these Legends?!?! I remembered Bynum being tutored by Kareem. Howard used to work with Hakeem.

Why can't we do that? I don't know if Malone wants to play ball (he'd said he'd be happy to help on a contractual basis if I'm not mistaken. But if McGee can work with Hakeem - what's stopping us from doing something similar? Surely it must be beneficial to get some pointers. If they can at least get that, I would have thought it would be worthwhile?

Is it the money thing?

But he was already a pretty good player in his own right? Even before working with Hakeem?

Bynum just became a super star more or less overnight when Kareem took him under his wings.
 
I've been wondering the same thing. Hakeem could do wonders with them. Mcgee will be as gooftastic as ever.
 
What exactly stops Kanter's and Favors' agents from giving a call to those Legends? It's not like they don't know their number or the Jazz would be against that.

Bynum worked with Kareem for several years. It was reported that Bynum skipped sessions and was generally lazy about the whole thing.

Ewing worked a lot with Howard in Orlando. The guy Favors needs to work with is Duncan. Not sure how that would happen though.

Maybe Kanter, provided that between Karl's drawl and and Enes' Turkish ear, it may prevent him from understanding anything that comes out of Karl's mouth. I don't want him anywhere near Favors. Just to be on the safe side, I say give him his free tickets, but keep him the hell away from the players.
 
Kanter's game could benefit from Karl Malone, and sadly so could his English.

Ostertag could be brought in to teach Kanter to dance.
 
I'd actually like to see Kanter work out with Eaton more than Malone. Develop new aspects to his game, you know? Like stifling defense.
