"People are still talking about Deron Williams’s dunk against the Spurs. Considering he dunked in between the Spurs’ big three–Parker, Duncan, and Ginobli–they might be talking about it for a long time. More importantly, the dunk proved to be the energy shot that the Jazz needed in the game, helping to spur them to victory (yes, pun intended…I couldn’t resist). After the game, Deron Williams talked about the dunk, joking that he doesn’t do that very often. ...."hesitation dribble?" I call that 2 carries, 3 palms and 1 travel! You saw the defender move in closer on Deron when it became obvious that he had picked up his dribble! But WAIT! The ref allowed the flagrant palming of the ball and the play continued with Deron "exploding" (carrying the ball) to the basket after a second and third palming of the basketball! Last time I saw a move like that.....was watching the AND1 league tournament!
