What's new

Wizzington Washards at Utah Jazz: 25 Jan, 7:00 local

and idiots were saying he wasn't worth tanking for last week. He wasn't a franchise changer. Obviously he's going to have bad games. If those people actually watched him play they'd see that even when his shot isn't falling he attacking, and drawing fouls. THAT is what NBA allstars do.

The Jazz need him.

Tonight was a glimpse of what our young core is capable of, but if you take that core and add a guy like Wiggins...?

Right when I was starting to get confident that the tank was lubed up and starting to roll.

Still too damn good........ Need one of burke, hayward, burks, or favors to get injured and trade away marvin and or RJ.

If we stay healthy with this same roster then there is NO CHANCE at a top 3 pick. (other than getting lucky and winning the lottery)

Edit: Even if burks or hayward got injured we could still just play RJ and Marvin more at the wings and rush is coming along so burks and hayward are kind of expendable.

A favors or burke injury is about only thing that would make this team significantly worse.

I have seen numerous people say you have to max him out or say match any offer. I believe that is 14 or 15 million. So maybe they literally didn't say 15 million, but it was implied.

The only person I've heard say or imply anything like this is DL of all people. I haven't heard anyone go higher then 12 million on this board.

- Might be the best minute distribution so far in this season
- Not Gordons best shooting night but still helped the team with his rebounding and passing.
- Trey did a really good job passing the ball. His FG% was not at his best but because of his 3P% his eFG% wasn't bad. Which is a good thing. I don't like that USG% though!
- Derricks REB% is about rigt, his TOV% is to high for my taste, his USG% is a little to low and he could be more efficient but he got to the line quite often so that's a good thing.
- I really liked Alec. He didn't turn the ball over, passed the ball and shoot the ball good but why is is USG% so low?
- Enes was super efficient and his USG%is right where it has to be but I hate that low REB%. And his 2 AST were a good thing.
- Don't like the USG% from RJ and Marvin but at least they just played 17 MIN.

Now to the interesting part. How did the young guys did together?

First of Enes and Derrick didn't work that good once again. In 17 MIN they had an OffRtg of 95.3, a DefRtg of 112.9 and a NetRtg of -17.6.

The core5 played together for 12 MIN and how should I say this delicately? They sucked!

Total(12 MIN): OffRtg: 97.6 , DefRtg: 130.8 , NetRtg: -33.2
1 Q(2 MIN): OffRtg: 40.0 , DefRtg: 250.0 , NetRtg: -210.0
2 Q(5 MIN): OffRtg: 110.3 , DefRtg: 67.3 , NetRtg: 43.0
4 Q(5 MIN): OffRtg: 111.5 , DefRtg: 156.3 , NetRtg: -44.7

The numbers are a little disappointing but considering how little they played together so far(19 MIN in 5 games) I really want to see more! No need for 30 MIN a game for them together but about 10 would be right. They have to start building some chemistry and there is no better time than this season, so let's do this!
