The Denver Nuggets have reached an agreement to trade guard Ty Lawson to the Houston Rockets, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Houston will send Kostas Papanikolaou, Pablo Prigioni, Joey Dorsey, Nick Johnson and a lottery-protected 2016 first-round draft pick to Denver, sources said. Along with Lawson, the Nuggets will send a 2017 second-round pick to Houston.

For Denver, the ability to secure a first-round pick in an otherwise barren market for Lawson was something of a coup for general manager Tim Connelly. The Rockets get a borderline All-Star talent with Lawson who could be a difference-maker in getting them over the top in the Western Conference. Obviously, Houston is running the risk that it can help Lawson get his personal life on track again.

Emmanuel Mudiay's stock is going way up.

Except for the fact he hates Utah would stunt the growth of Exum and is a known troubled player who could potentially poison our young core. I wouldn't take him even if he were free left at the jazz door step

In theory these DUI's knock him off his high horse and he's just happy to be in the league. I get thats not a reality, but it would have been nice to see.
