Would the Donald have won without Russian meddling?

I am curious about this. I had a heated discussion with some neighbors over burgers and dogs this last weekend about this topic. One was adamant that the ONLY reason Donald won was due to Russian meddling and that we can never know the true extent (he believes they tampered with every state's election systems, targeted ads, hacking various things, etc. etc.). Others think it was a non-starter of an argument that it was at worst a distraction. I fall somewhere in the middle leaning toward it is very overblown.

Anyway I thought a poll here would be interesting to see where we as JF'ers fall on this spectrum.



Please keep in mind, this is NOT about the legality of Donald's interactions with Russia, this is just to see who believes that the Russians really factually influenced the election and to what extent.

That is what I thought too. I also agree with your other post. But I wanted to see what the prevailing opinion was on the Russian meddling issue specifically.

I know a lot of people that voted for Donald, and many of them actually surprised me that they did, but most did so specifically to keep Hillary from getting elected more than to vote Donald in. I can't remember such a polarizing election in my lifetime.

The New York Times published the results of an investigation recently. One problem is that few states are actually interested in "help" from, or themselves helping, federal officials interested in irregularities, snafus, etc., that happened on Election Day. Actually, when I read Marxist rhetoric in his political views, it's clear he has no effing clue what religion feels like, in his head it's just another rhetorical tool for stampeding the communitarian-susceptible voters whichever way he wants them to run.

If he ever had any muslim teaching or ritual practice, it meant nothing. To a Marxist, there can be no "Allah".

That's why I believe the whole of "jihadist" extremism is Western manipulation, be it Brit, Russian or American. Btw, that is what the Marxist Brennan did with the CIA under Obama. Set up the ISIS/ISUL Caliphate to dislodge the Russians and their boy from Syria.... But the best-laid plans of progressives and Marxists always fail miserably.

Don't fantasize about Hillary ever sealing her yapper. She knows everything. The world cannot do without her. NOBODY else should ever be Pres. well, in her head, anyway, that's the bedrock reality.
