First trade
Iggy is also on the trading block

Out of those two, I would choose Iggy, since Smith is more a PF than a true SF

Jazz trade Millsap/Bell to Philly for Iggy

Second trade
The bucks need a center and Jennings seems to be unhappy with the bucks and would welcome a trade.

Jazz trade Kanter/Harris/2013 1st rd pick to the bucks for Brandon Jennings/Beno Udrih/Dunleavy

Jazz Lineup after the trades
C-Favors/free agent
PF-Jefferson/free agent
SF-Iggy/Dunleavy/Carroll
SG-Hayward/Burks
PG-Jennings/Udrih/Watson

Jazz would be at 56 million and would have about 2 to 4 million to spend on a backup C/PF and also be able to use mle on a backup C/PF
Possible backup candidates at center include:
Ian Mahimi
Mehmet Okur
Omer Asik
Nazr Mohammad
Aaron Gray
Greg Stiesma
Hasheem Thabeet

Possible backup candidates at power forward include
Louis Amundson
Troy Murphy
Renaldo Balkman
Sheldon Williams
Jared Jeffries

Why are some jazzfans so crazy for Jsmooth? He sucks. He either dunks or chucks 3s. Unfortunately he dunks far too rarely and chucks far too often.

Did not say I wanted J smooth. If you read what I posted, I proposed trades to get andre iguodola and brandon jennings. Obviously, the currently constructed team will not win a championship and the jazz has a crowded frontcourt. It is time to trade some of those frontcourt players and upgrade the rest of the team. kanter has not shown that he will be dominant and I would much rather have brandon jennings. Jefferson is best suited to play PF and the jazz would put favors in for the starting center. Anyone who thinks the following lineup would be mediocre is crazy.

Favors
Jefferson
Iggy
Hayward
Jennings

David Andrew Fain, like those before him who we now know by their full name, a mentally unstable and mentally challenged one to say the least.

Jennings your PG? From deron to Harris and from Harris to Jennings? wht kind of drugs you use? You wanna jazz to be as bobcats? Kanter and Paul trade and then searching for back up 4 and 5? Iggy has been phenemonal this year but he is not the right guy for being your SF. No consistency at shooting behind the arc, can not play in slow system and product nothin on offense set to set. So just awful idea.

First trade, I might consider (luke warm), but the Jazz need a wing who can shoot. I'm not sure Iggy is a big upgrade over Hayward there. Philly might also value Iggy more than Millsap, so they probably say no.

Second trade is horrible for the Jazz. Kanter is going to be really good. To give him up + a lotto pick for Jennings and scrub scraps is a big step backward.

You know the old saying "Laughter is the best medicine"?...well, I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank the OP for giving me my medicine for the day.

Only real problem I see is that it renders the 2012-13 regular season and playoffs useless. I could see the competition committee calling an emergency meeting 5 games into the season and deciding we have to play a man down the rest of the year to even make it remotely fair for the other teams.

Needless to say, I've already emailed friends, family and colleagues explaining that I'll be unavailable sometime in mid to late June 2013 with parade preparation.
