Come to think of it, if that were the case, those statues would be flying around town after dark. And the ones in the undiscovered ancient cities of the space sojourners would be all over the world. . . .

You forgot hookers.

The way I look at it, for hookers you pay five times. There's the "up front" price, the price it costs you in taxes and social programs from the govt, the "gang tax"(what it drains outta the community to have these folks on the streets, not including socialist govt. handouts), the health tax you will pay doctors and such down the road, and the difficulty you'll have thinking straight. Arguably, you weren't thinking very well to begin with, but it just gets harder to get outta the deeper holes you keep digging for yourself, and you just might not ever get back to what I call the light of day. . . . where you achieve a sort of comprehensionally valid relation with the universe, or God.
