I believe that I've mentioned them twice. What makes you think either one was a joke?
He should also learn a bit of the pullup game of Stockton. The threat of Stockton pulling up for a jumper was part of what made the pnr work so well...

Stockton always made everyone around him better. I was not surprise the first two highlights were of Mark Eaton scoring like an All Star. Eaton could score. When Stockton was on the floor.
I always wondered how good Antoinne Carr would have been if he was drafted with John. Like many have say, he can come in and pick up right where Malone leaves off. This is the John Stockton effect.
