Jeff Withey Needs To Stay

This. The guys rep around the league is as a poster. But that's fine, he goes for it and does block some shots. Just saying the guy gets dunked on, a lot.

Kanter was his daddy the last few years if you remember.....

He will:

Gobert/Withey/Pleiss
Favors/Booker/Lyles
Hayward/Ingles/Johnson
Burks/Hood/Millsap
Burke/Neto/Exum

15 people. Only possible change comes at Johnsons expense if the Jazz want a 3rd playable PG and make it Cotton. (I doubt it)

Agree with this roster... with Burks/Hood combo, Cotton is more expendable and Johnson more important...
Sorry for Bryce, but think he'll find a spot and be successful.

Whoever makes the team out of Cotton/Johnson is going to get cut December 15th anyway. The Jazz will never let their 15th man be a guaranteed contract, that I can guarantee.

I dont know if I would say he has a reputation as a poster, I think he just has a reputation that he was a poster for that one Lakers' player that one time.

I tend to agree.

Yup he got posterized on that play for sure. I don't know why any seven footer would try to draw a charging foul. You do that if you're a little guy with no chance to defend the guy straight up.

If you get dunked on, so what, as long as you're being agressive...I can live with it. Gobert got posterized by Wiggins, big deal, he just comes back a few plays later and shoves the next dunk attempt down his throat.

I like Withey on this team. Another defensive center that can block shots when Gobert is out is awesome. Less of a letdown when Gobert sits, and more fouls if we want to be agressive.

Has good enough hands to catch and quickly dunk too. Doesn't seem like a lot to ask, but so many big guys can't do it. He just seems to have that Jazz guy attitude. Happy and grateful to be here.

If you are able to get position the charge is actually a much better play regardless of size. I believe Splitter does this a bunch. It's much more manly to block a shot, but there is a chance the ball bounces to the opposing team and they still score. Take a charge and you get the ball and the other player leaves with a foul. There are good situations for both plays.

Centers get posterized all the time as you cited. The play I hate is when guys turn away from the play because they are afraid of ending up on the poster.
