Excerpts of Jazz guard Deron Williams' interview with the media Sunday after the 2011 NBA All-Star game in Los Angeles.
Nineteen minutes of action: It felt pretty good. [Gregg Popovich] kept putting me in. I was having fun.
Free-agent rumors: I guess I'm going to have to get used to it. I guess until I'm a free agent, until I've made a decision, I guess I'm going to have to get used to it.
Carmelo Anthony: He's been going through a lot, man. But I know he's a tough individual. I know he's sick of the same questions night in and night out. … Hopefully I don't have to go through that.
Kobe Bryant: He's been doing that for years. He dominated the game today. Rebounding the ball, scoring the ball. That's Kobe.
Report that he wants to play for the New York Knicks: Who said it? … I've never met [him] in my life. Hamburger — I've had a hamburger. … So you're [him]. Who did you hear it from? … Exactly. So it's not credible. You can't put him on the witness stand. You've got nothing to talk about.
Derrick Rose: MVP candidate. Playing the best basketball right now of anyone in the league. Dominating games. Special player. … I think he's one of the best athletes in the game. He's quick, he's fast, he's explosive. Everybody said his weakness is shooting. He's answered that. He's taken his game to a whole new level.
Blake Griffin: I think his all-around game is phenomenal. I don't see many weaknesses in his game. … When he figures out how to play and learns the game — he's already unstoppable — but it's going to be worse.
