Game #14 Utah Jazz @ L.A. Clippers -- Wed. Nov. 25th @ 8:30pm MST

He played a good 3rd quarter, kind of hard to say he won the game for us when we had a guy score 33 points and +/- of 22.
Ya, neto was great but hayward won the game

Sticks and stones can break their bones.

My friends can drop F-bombs, but when I'm paying big bucks for good seats with my kids I don't want to hear it. Might seem like a small thing but I think it's about respecting the game and the fans.

I rewound it too. He was sort of bouncing around. His pivot foot definitely came off the ground.
You rewound it I rewind it

Anywho I think his foot came up as he was making the pass.

Idk, maybe it was a travel but I have seen refs not call allot more obvious travels than that one.

Ticky tack travel lol

If those kids came to watch me play basketball and I was in the moment they would probably hear me curse.
I would curse so much

I'd rather the players played at max intensity, and for some of them that means the F bomb is going to come out. Not everyone has the same upbringing as your kids.

10 of Utah's first 14 games on the road, and they're the 6th seed at the end of it.

That's very encouraging.

I think Hayward has been the biggest difference between this season and the second half of the last. With him playing well, the Jazz are solid playoffs contenders.

I also don't think Gobert is playing as well as he did last year. No where near the intensity and determination, although he is still a difference maker on the defensive end.

Snyder's rotations were on point this game.

Hayward goes out around the 5 minute mark of the 1st and 3rd, then plays entire 2nd and 4th.

But think of the kids! That poor kid's life is ruined now that he's heard the word **** for the first time of a trillion to come.

No doubt that it was the sort they could have let go, but technically it was a travel. Fortunately it didn't matter anyway.

Best game of the season by so far. I said last week I'd trade a couple wins if we could get this one, and it definitely feels worth it.

**** THE CLIPPERS

Gobert has been fantastic defensively all year. He's still incredibly raw offensively, and no reasonable person should've expected him to markedly better on that end based on what he showed last year. His hands are still iffy, and he doesn't have any post moves. But he's gotten better with positioning, screening and he's still active on the offensive glass. The key for the Jazz will be keeping him totally healthy.

To your first point, Hayward at the level he played against the Clippers (or somewhat close to it) puts the Jazz in the playoffs for sure.

I don't think he has been as good defensively. At least not to the eye test. I can link you the thousand threads where people talked about him being one of the best defenders of all time. He just doesn't look the same.

I think teams are just more aware of what Gobert can do, so there aren't as many highlight plays for Gobert.

They repeat everything they hear. So, next time you say "It's time for dinner!", they reply with "THAT'S A G-DAMN FOUL! F***!" See how that might be a problem?
