Is gathering splinters on the pine. Can he be legally sent to the DLeague just to play? It seems like he could be an asset for the future but now he is Bill Wenningtoning it on the pine.

I really enjoyed watching him play (cutest guy on the team), and I feel bad that he is wasting away on the bench. I understand the decision, but still . . .

If I was a player, I'd rather be in the D League than a front-row spectator.

I do wonder why he does not play more. A perfect situation for him I thought was the Sacto game, where we were puking up a nice lead, especially with Rudy going to bench or out. Seemed like paint protection was a premium there and wondered why Quin was not playing him over Booker.

He has found Quinn's doghouse for some reason. It seemed to me he played very well at times when Rudy was hurt.

I don't understand the reasoning for not playing him more. There have been numerous instances this season where I would have rather have had Withey get minutes over Booker. There must be off the court issues or personality issues in play to explain why he doesn't get minutes.

Because Booker is better.

They probably need Withey as a big body for practice.

I thought he was OK filling in for Favors/Gobert - but he's not exactly a gem wasting away on the bench either.

They did get him for cheap and he was 3rd string last year on a team whose coach got canned at the end of the season.

He just isn't what Quin wants to do. Quin wants to stagger Gobert/Favors so one of them is on the court playing center at all times. Booker brings such great energy you have to play him and Lyles brings shooting. There just really isn't a place for Withey unless someone is injured.

Fun fact about Jeff he was drafted in the draft where Rudy and Trey were drafted and Nate Wolters was drafted just ahead of Jeff and the legendary Grant Jerrett was drafted just behind him.

Matt is jealous, Now that he's an ex-player, you've moved on?

Nope, I get to see plenty of Matt - love him being a broadcaster. But it's a rule of mine to cheer for the best looking guy on the team, and it's hard to cheer for him when he's not playing.

Hehe, that's funny.

Interesting. You find him more attractive than Kid Hayward?

I think DL wants to preserve his trade value going into the off season. If no takers, we got a great backup for pennies on the dollar.

He has zero trade value bro. Players like him are found in every draft and in leagues all over the world.
Maybe you can get a third rounder for him.
