Many of the players genuinely hated each other too... Jordan wouldn't play in the Olympics if Isiah Thomas was on the team... You think he's joining up with that guy.
We all know the guy at pick up hoops that tries to play with the 4 best players in the gym instead of making the teams fair and having a competitive game. KD just became that guy... Nobody like that guy.

Except for Drexler and Hakeem, not one of these teams is a case of superstars teaming up. And the third best player on that Rockets team was, who? Rookie Robert Horry? Clyde and Hakeem were both in their 30s, too.
The 86/87 Lakers, possibly the greatest team in history, drafted 3 out of 5 members of their starting lineup. They traded for Kareem, but that was 11 years earlier. Scott was essentially selected for the Lakers by the Clippers and traded before he ever played an NBA game. First two guys off the bench, Rambis and Cooper, were drafted in the 3rd round.
Robert Parish and the pick used to select McHale were traded to the Celtics by the Warriors. Parish had averaged 25 minutes a game for the Warriors and put up 14 and 9 over his 4 years there. McHale put up exactly 10 points a game in his rookie season.
The Bad Boy Pistons drafted Thomas, Dumars, and Rodman. They got the rest of their players in trades, and not one of them was anything resembling a star beforehand except Mark Aguirre. And they gave up our very own legend AD for him.
The Bulls drafted 3 of those players and swapped rookies on draft day to get Pippen. They got Kerr for free, after Orlando simply let him go. He averaged 2.6 PPG that year, so you can kind of see why Orlando would do it. And you and I should both be old enough to remember how old Rodman was in 1995 and how low his stock was.
Not one of these cases is anything like what just happened. If David Robinson had joined the Jazz back in 1996, that would've been something like this, maybe. But that just didn't happen back then.

This is the generation we live in with Social media and cell phones. Heck in the 1980s they couldn't log in to talk to each other or send a text message to them. Maybe you catch them on the phone when at home, but that's why they hated each other. The kids today are soft and its the generation they live in.

Why the Jordan idol worship in this thread? In all 5 NBA seasons without Pip and Phil, MJ had 5 losing seasons. The Bulls drafted a star for next to MJ. And had All Star Grant. The 2nd 3peat teams were some of the best ever assembled. Kukoc would only come to US to play for the Bulls. Those teams were superstacked.
Stop the MJ idol worship. The guy was good but was a loser (literally) without Pippen.

MJ was amazing but don't buy all the hype shoved down your throat throughout the years from Nike, Gatorade, and so many other companies. It's all about money and MJ made a ton for so many. They preserve his legacy which isn't as great as they want you to think.

Yes because Pippen was a star in college I forgot and a sure thing when he came into the league, They grew together.. Also talk about cherry picking by you... MJ is the best ever hands down and has thenumber 1 sneaker stil lto this day. So that shows you how well respected the guy is... You are a loser for even trying to say he was a loser before Pippen and Jackson.. When Jordan went to play baseball did Pippen and Jakson win 2 titles without Jordan?

Look it up. Every single season without Pippen was a losing season for Jordan. I'm not posting lies.
When MJ left the Bulls the first time, the Bulls lost one more game that next season. One game. They guy was amazing but not some untouchable.
