Glad to see the little guy get guaranteed.
4 years $1M/
2 years guaranteed

Not a lot, but enough to be able to go forward with a focus on bb without worry of a first contract.

Damn, that is really good money. He must be proud to be the highest paid NBA ball boy.

This contract is either a total steal for whoever drafted him, or the team just won't care. Stupid move on Ulis's agent to grant the team 2 team options. The latest cases of Isaiah Thomas, Chandler Parsons etc show that you never give a team nonguaranteed after 2 years. If you suck, you're out anyways, if you're a steal the team has you for two more years for free. You just make it 2 years and then go poison pill hunting if you're good enough.

LAS VEGAS – The four point guards selected in the first round of this year’s NBA draft have opened Summer League play with a total of 25 assists and 40 turnovers.

The point guard that the Suns felt should have been selected in the mid-first round has 19 assists to only two turnovers through three games and is turning more heads on defense because of his 14 steals.

So Ulis with;
A/TO ratio of 9.5:1
Steals to TO ratio of 7:1

That's ****ing legit.

Also rebounding and scoring at a very high efficiency.

All things are possible with a lowered expectation.

We've always been taught to 'reach for the star' but sometimes the 'cloud' is good enough.

Or sometimes sitting on the grass with a nice breeze is just as nice...

He did good, you dummies.

Not saying he didn't, just saying sometimes there's more to life than an NBA contract..

With his skill set and level of play he could still be really successful in other Leagues around the world and make a VERY good living.. it's all about 'expectations'.
