Probably not realistic, but you can hope that some of them grow up and mature a little bit. Going to college, getting married and having kids can (sometimes) have that effect. A lot can happen in a year.
But that's just the young guys. With the old guys, you just hope they die.

Terrence Jones.
Jones has a down year last year, but who on the rockets didn't? That rox team was a mess. He's still a gifted 4 in transition who can drive play in the post and hit open three's.

My team.
Reggie Jackson. Dennis Schröder
Jimmy Butler. Alec Burke
Khris Middleton. DeMarre Carroll
Ryan Anderson. Terrence Jones
Karl Anthony Towns. Marcin Gortat
Not much to hate about this team. And not many glaring weaknesses.
Teams will find this team difficult to score on, but also a team that won't have any difficulty scoring on. We are too long and athletic, which other teams will find overwhelming at times.
KAT is special, and expect he'll be an allstar next year, and one of the great talents on both offense and defense.
Jimmy Butler is a star and stud defender and scorer, and one of the best two way players in the league.
Middleton and Anderson are feared 3pt shooters. Middleton has allstar talent and another good defender.
Jackson has taken off since his trade to Detroit. Big strong athletic guard also a good defender and can hit the three.
4 of my 5 starters are above average to elite defenders and all can score and do it in different ways.
My bench is also a strength with scorers in Burks Gortat and Jones with Another young pg leading the second unit in Schröder and Carroll being the tough hard nosed do the dirty work player on this team. He embodies the attitude and philosophy's of this team. 80% of my team are long athletic defenders that can, to the man put the ball in the hoop.

People have really stepped up in both Annual and Current Players' comps. this year.
Yeah, that is a rather long list of excuses for not picking Russell Westbrook.
I think it all falls in line with the example set by the JFC mods
