I would probably start Wiggins myself... voters usually pay more attention to starters.

Seems like a bad choice. He can't shoot yet and Hayward/Durant/Dragic are enough ball handling for one lineup. Lee is a great 5th man. He can shoot as well as anyone and defends.

Well Wiggins is your cutter/slasher, Hayward and Dragic are your ball handlers & shooters, that gives you the balance. Wiggins doesn't need the ball in his hand to be effective, in fact he would probably thrive in the spaces created by Hayward and Dragic's shooting.

Also your starting lineup needs an 'enforcer' defensively and Wiggins can give you that lock down defense on opponents' best wing - Hayward/Durant/Dragic won't give you that.

Agreeing with Cy on this one. Wiggins isn't a better defender than Lee, and having him to create off the bench is probably more valuable (assuming he uses him as a real 6th man who gets 25-30 minutes).

Nah, I'm much more confident in Lee's veteran presence and ability to play a role. I like the idea of 6th men.

I don't think Wiggins is who you think he is. Idk the stats, but isn't Hayward even a better defender than him?

PG - Russell Westbrook / Elfrid Payton
SG - Bradley Beal / Monta Ellis
SF - Jabari Parker / Allen Crabbe
PF - Zach Randolph / Trey Lyles
C - Marc Gasol / Nerlens Noel

Really? I've always thought of Wiggins as a good defender, athletic, quick, long, committed. Also he's improving and we're projecting this for next year.

He's got the tools and is improving, but as of last year he was below average(68th of 93 SGs by ESPN DRPM). I think projecting anything past above average is a stretch for next season.

And yeah, RPM isn't perfect, but I think it's pretty accurate here, he makes a lot of young player mistakes on that end, but can kind of make up for them with his athleticism.

I think he should be a good defender this year with Thibs. Hayward better tho.

PF is just such a giant hole for you.

Your starter is a specialist who is a hole on defense and your backup is a guy who just signed a one year minimum contract.
