The best case package from Boston for Hayward looks something like Jaylen Brown, Crowder, Jerebko, rights to Ante Zizic and Geurschon Yabusele and Brooklyn's 2018 1st rd pick..

swap Amir Johnson for Jerebko if you really want to get greedy. I don't see how the C's do that deal without making other moves too.

Hill - Exum - Burks/Neto - 1st rd pick?
Hood - Burks - Brown/((Ingles))/Exum
Crowder - ((Ingles))/Iso Joe - Hood/Burks/Brown/Exum
Favors - Lyles - (Yabusele) -Iso Joe
Gobert - (Zizic)

I don't like it except for;

- Unknown of what Hayward will do in FA
- that 2018 pick could be forreal

It also creates a bunch of cap space and makes Jazz potential sellers for years to come... Those 2-4 players will cost 12-16MM and wont hit free agency til the earliest summer of 2020...

That pick is probably top-5 going into the lottery so it'd be a huge asset, super high upside, there's great bigs, Ayton would be insane next to Rudy.. and if you land Michael Porter Jr or Luka Doncic the loss of Hayward is completely absorbed.. you can then really fill in the roster with 2year vet contracts to win now..

Bogut better get a buyout. Don't want to see him rot in Philly. Can sign for the rest of the year in Utah
 
Lemme just say this is nothing short of masterful maneuvering by the Mavs, now all they need is Lonzo Ball and they can run run run...

They've secured 2 young franchise pillars in Barnes and Noel, to be paid market-value, at just the cost of a 1st rd pick 1-18 protected and Justin Anderson.. GM deserves a raise.

Frustrating that the Jazz don't get in on getting one of these good players for cheap.

Thats a good trade for Dallas,
