I feel like kwahi isn't that great of a defender, could have just been this game. He is always on the side of the person he's guarding not in front and Hayward burned him more than once.


I'm just finishing up watching the game, but I am seriously feeling like we can beat anyone. I imagine it's the clips (who are the biggest worries) then the warrirs, then the spurs...followed by some weak east team. While I won't be disappointed no matter the outcome, I'm definitely feeling a koolaid high.

I think when home court advantage is on the line like this, you should play your best players. Quin tonight was like a guy who chucks up a horrible shot at the buzzer, but it still goes in. It's not a great decision, just luck.

Well you should always chuck up a horrible shot at the buzzer. It's a turnover if ya don't.

But mostly agree with you. This game had some importance to it. I can understand a little the decision to rest your mvp guys. But I think hood, diaw, and ingles could have been left in. Maybe not hood cause of his recent injuries but diaw, jj, ingles could have played. Ya you risk injuries to those guys (though that would be unlikely) but that is what the depth we have is for.
 
We drafted Lyles ahead of the guy that scored 70 right? Smh
 
Joerger has been a good coach. They traded Cousins, Gay has been out since January and their roster is underwhelming for the most part.

A. We won the game. We dont know if we would have won the game if we had put our starters back in. We can make assumptions but we do know we won the game. We also know that no one got hurt we dont know what could have happened if we pushed our starters to win this game.

B. The Clippers will win their game.

C. Home court is not going to be the determining factor of who wins this playoff series. Home court does not matter that much especially in the 4/5 matchup.

D. Clearly Snyder knows what he is doing.
 
I think we saw tonight that home court was not all that important to Quin. If it was he would have put the starters back out there at some point. Instead he played the worst defensive unit possible for this team. Mack, Lyles and Burks all on the floor at the same time is a defensive nightmare.

Fortunate? What motivation does Pop have to play his starters against our bench? It was pretty obvious both coaches werent going to ride their starters heavy this game.

Quin did the right thing. Player health is #1 priority. Kings arent going to beat the Clippers playing a 7 man rotation on the road in a game the Clippers want to win.
 
I see some speculation about next season in this thread. I want to enjoy the moment for now. There will be plenty of time to analyze the past and lament the future after the playoffs. But I will say while I am high on the Jazz tonight, all is not well. So party on tonight, I can't wait for Sunday. Go Jazz.
