Warriors wanted to play Clippers because SLC is boring

Yes, but they wear pasties which Matt wouldn't approve of.
Not all of them. Just the ones that serve booze. Unless it's changed southern exposure doesn't serve booze and has full nudes. Although if they are fully nude not only can alcohol not be served they must stay 3 feet away from customers. Strip clubs are the same level of creepy gross every where for the most part. Some are classier or have more attractive people but the people watching are even creepier.

I mean let's be honest, LA has lots more to do, but SLC isn't as bad as Barnes makes it sound. He's ignorant and a serious idiot. Wait til Ingles gets in his head.

For pro athletes it's all about Tinder these days - and LA has the easiest hook-ups in the country.

Don't think they need Tinder like the average man might. There is a who subculture of NBA groupies. Ask Karl Malone. He was notorious back in the day and didn't need no Tinder. :)

Some people are a little more reasonable than Barnes in this article. Clearly SLC is not as big as LA so there is less to do (Especially week day nights) but SLC nightlife is fine and fun. Any decent size city has some fun stuff to do and a nightlife if you know where to look.

"I'm sure it's probably clubs, but I've never been to one in Utah," Kevin Durant told ESPN. "It's a few restaurants close to the hotel, but you're not scattered out. L.A. is just bigger. That's the only difference. But preparation wise, my approach is the same as in any other city."

Acting head coach Mike Brown has Utah's back.

"See, I disagree," Brown said of Salt Lake City's "boring" perception. "I think if you really want to find something to get into, I don't care where you are, you can find something to get into."

Iguodala never said he wasn't a fan of Salt Lake City. He mentioned the nice bars, Park City, the unique restaurants, movie theaters and the cleanliness of the town as appealing attributes.

Need is the wrong term. It just makes it easier. They jump on scan through a 100 people and pick out who they want to come to their hotel room or meet at a party in a short amount of time without going out or any real work.

In all reality this is an attempt to psych out the Jazz, part of trash-talk. See, the Jazz are not even worth worrying about, a mere bump in the road on the way to their divinely-ordained and fully entitled championship. In fact, the Jazz are so far beneath contempt that the ONLY thing the Warriors have to worry about is boredom.

Northern exposure.

Uh, he's 37 years old. Perhaps he should focus less on partying and more on the fact he's playing in the conference semi-finals.

No! he is focused exactly where I want him focused. Hopefully he takes Green Durant and Curry around with him. lol

The only time I ever go to strip clubs are for bachelor parties. The last one I went to in New Orleans we went to 2 clubs. The first one was super fancy and big budget. The other we went to was like a dive strip club. That **** was rough.

Exactly - ESPN or CBS Sports or one of them did a long article on this.

Tinder has totally changed the landscape for pro athletes. No more wasting time hooking up at clubs or parties or hotels.

Some people like going to clubs and parties. And it's not about just going to parties. In LA you are partying with celebrities and ****.

Oh c'mon Log, we both know full well that Cy is a fluffer for the male strippers, to keep them ... uhmm... at semi attention. So yes of course, I'd guess he'd get fisted (full of dollars) and some money shots (in his pockets).

Sounds like you've been working on some hot erotic fiction.

For sure SLC is never going to compete with LA's party scene. The Millers should push for a long homestand during Sundance. That might help a bit.

The thing is that a lot of these dudes are also good Dads. I think that becoming a father changes your calculus.

I think that the DL selling SLC as a place that will give you more time with your family is a smart move. You can get a bigger better home in SLC minutes from the arena and airport for less money. I think that by the time a player has spent 8 years in the league there is a lot to sell about SLC.
