What's new

Following potential 2017 draftees...

just for those that care. Josh Hart is also an eagle scout. Just saying he is the perfect Jazz man. My draft today is Semi Ojeleye at 24 and Josh Hart at 30.

Frank Jackson at 24
Kuzma at 30

Granted I am a Homer but they both are a better fit for the NBA than college. They will be better than guys taken ahead of them. Kuzma's shooting worries me but I think he figures it out.

Jackson registered the second-highest vertical jump at the NBA Draft Combine, hitting 42 inches, and his general athleticism has impressed GMs around the league. At P3, where Jackson has trained all offseason, director of performance Luke Storey says Jackson is one of the most eye-popping athletes they've ever had the pleasure of testing, from the force he creates when lifting to his ability to move laterally.

Uhh, wut? The "screens" they have been sending out are they arent taking Ball, so that means they probably are.

Going off this headline "Lakers Looking to Bring Lonzo Ball in for 2nd Workout"

Majority of the mocks have him going to the Lakers. Hell man you know money runs everything, I'd be surprised if the right $$$, Front Office, Agent didn't have influences on mocks.

Love Justin Jackson but he won't be there at 24. Love Derrick White.

Kuzma, Pass. And I'll tell ya why, his shooting and his vertical. What was his reason they made up for pulling out of the 5 on 5 at the combine on day 2? He made some lucky shots on day 1 and his agent pulled him lol

He was a 40% 3pt shooter in Pac-12 play.

Man i'm not a hater if he turns out I'll be happy for ya Cy but he can't shoot free throws, just as many turnovers as assists.

No way he goes round 1, let's take him at with our last pick ok?

There was a bit of buzz that Lydon shot the lights out in his workout with the Jazz. Like the lighting fixtures were literally falling out of the ceiling. He might have been one of the Gobertesque workouts Locke referred to. Don't be shocked if the Jazz take him at 24.

Edit: Lydon was a 50/40/84 shooter at Syracuse with a good rebound rate (8.6 rpg), steals (1 pg) and blocks (1.4 bpg). Numbers are slightly better with pace adjustment. He has enough athletic potential to be an adequate defender (read: non-liability), even though he's not in the best shape.

Of course his agent pulled him out. He made a great impression and there was no where to go but down

Yeah, and 16.7% the year before and 26.3% his freshman year from 3.

32.1% on 2.9 attempts for the whole year is bad. Using conference play doesn't change that fact.

Cool, nice facts. The real facts are his shooting is trending up greatly and that is what matters. When he is a great 3pt shooter in the NBA no on will care about what he shot his freshman or sophomore year.
