Chris Paul to the Rockets - Beverly is off the table

Aside from Paul George what other players do you believe the Jazz can trade for that move the needle?

None. Millsap could be a S&T target for Favors/Burks, but I'd hesitate giving him near max money at this stage of his career. Jimmy Butler would have been my #1 offseason target. . . but I really didn't think that the Bulls would be dumb enough to trade him. I think that the Jazz are best off keeping Hayward, Jingles and Hill. . . so their options for upgrades are limited to a trade (PG13 is the best option there) or the MLE. I don't think Tobias Harris, or Eric Bledsoe or Milos Teodosic move the needle for the Jazz at all. It all comes down to how well the team fits in the playoffs. Adding PG13 is the only (realistic) move I see that can take the Jazz into contender status this offseason.

Why? It makes the Celtics pitch weaker without PG13 to pair up with Hayward.

Hayward could be an All-Star walking in his sleep for the next 5 years in the East if that happens. Dear lord, it's going to go back to the days of a guy like Kyle Korver making the All-Star team.

If that's what he wants... sure... but then again - I think it depends on how good the Jazz are - if we are no. 3 in the West and Hayward is leading us to 60 wins he will be an all-star. Coaches reward winning. He might never be a starter in the ASG, but he will get selected as long as the Jazz are doing well and he's the guy for the Jazz.

The Rockets don't have anybody's 1st round picks but their own. I doubt that's gonna do it for PG.

Agreed. Anything the Rockets could offer. . . Boston or Utah could easily beat. Don't see them trading Capella, but Houston clearly prioritized adding All Stars to their roster.

West is all super teams makes it easier to go east. Maybe though...

Don't think money is an issue for CP3 -- not only the tens of millions he has made and makes, but he must be pulling down huge bucks for his State Farm commercials.

Wrong, completely. He is the one who negotiated the new contracts that allowed vets like him to get super huge max deals.

It would probably be more like Gordon, Ariza, and a million first. Pacers have no need for Capela with Turner as their star.

Capela is the best young asset they have... I'd flip him if I couldn't use him.
