But one team would be the Sixers. Still have a ton of 2nd rounders from the Hinkie era (good ones too). I could see their new FO really valuing JJ.

Right. DL is going around running workouts for guys nobody has ever heard of to start to sell the league on Utah being a good place to come play, for word of mouth to eventually travel around over time to make us a desirable FA destination. What better way to complement that process than taking our largest FA acquisition of the last decade and shipping him off to the Sixers for a couple low-level assets, effectively squeezing every last drop of value out of a guy before we toss him so DL can continue to be the Danny Ainge of the second round.
