Stuff like this and the twitter repartee between Favs and Gobert have me hoping the trimmed down, full-time PF version of Favs will re-sign with Utah. THe interior tandem of Gobert and Favors, with strong defense from the guards might compensate for the loss of Gordo.

Yes. By reducing his mass he reduces the amount of gravitational force on the ball, therefore increasing the range of his jumpshot. If he gets skinny enough he may be able to hit the corner three.
