Interesting George Hill Video

tl;dr: Hill isn't happy in Sac. Thinks Hill shoulda stayed in Utah. Lows all across the board.

Never too late for both sides to swallow their pride...

Dodged a bullet is right. That's why signing age 30+ players is risky, they can take a sharp decline at any time.

Watched a bit of the Kings Clippers game last night - Hill can still play. Would prob be a better starter for us than Rubio - in a vacuum, of course, not at $$$$$$

If we go after Mirotic, we might as well go after Hill and salvage the season. I think

Hill/Mitchell
Mitchell/maybe Burks or Hood
Ingles/maybe Hood or Thabo
Mirotic/Jerebko or Jesus
Gobert/maybe Mirotic?/Udoh

Makes the playoffs, plays Houston, makes it a series.

$$$$$$ that has no obvious cap consequences.

With Hayward leaving it worked out for us.
Well.

If he was here, maybe Hayward might. *shrug*

And probably Mitchell or Kuzma.

We'd have been fine. I don't think Hill just started sucking, he's just a bit of a system player. He can rise to the occasion (like when PG or Monta was out).

Maybe you should have added this to some of the previous Hill threads, not start a new one. Too many Hill threads

Hayward said he liked Rubio.

George Hill is a grown man who can't blame his agent. He should have had the last say.
True although he received bad advice from his agent who made him believe he could get a better deal in the offseason. His agent screwed him by misjudging the market (or being greedy) but yeah, the last call was made by Hill

Didn't he fire his agent when we were having extension talk with him? Then his new agent called off the talks to get a better deal in the offseason. Am I remembering it wrong?

I think he got a new agent just before the offseason

Couple times tonight I watched DM kick it out to Rubio only to have him brick the shot or pump fake and drive to nowhere. I wondered what if that was Hill.

Funny comment. I just posted about this in another thread and him dishing for Rubio shots has been a pet peeve.
