GAME 1: Little Ricky's journey to the playoffs -- Jazz @ Thunder 4/15/18 4:30 pm MST

They could legit call almost all the fouls they tagged Rudy with on Adams every damn play. I also found it odd they reviewed the in bound play foul on crowder but Rubio got elbowed in the face at least twice by Westbrook and no one bothered to check for a tech or flagarant.

OKC didn’t miss though and that’s why we lost. I don’t think they shoot like that again... who knows.

Maybe Adams gets those fouls in slc

Adams had one foul and Paul George played out of his mind. Neither of those things should happen again.

Watching this game was frustrating because OKC fans suck, the refs predictably gave OKC every 2nd half call and our energy was lacking. We didnt show up and looked flat. I don't expect that to happen again.

We've seen Royce play much better defense throughout the year than we saw from him tonight. Not sure we can say the same about AB.
Please show me videos of Royce playing consistently good defense against superstars or really fast guards. More specifically, against the Thunder.

Why not? He can bring some instant offense. We can't only rely on DM on offense. I'm sure OKC defense won't leave him uguarded like they are doing with Rubio, Ingles and Royce O'Neale.
Burks provided offense in like 3 games this season. He has been just as ineffective offensively as O'Neale has, maybe even more so.

It was impressive what Burks did there, but that's not what you want to see in the regular flow of the game. Burks running and gunning will shoot you out of a game more often than it carries you through one.

Good post but Burks also had 2 really nice passes to wide open 3 point shooters (they missed of course).
Burks is underrated as a passer and over exaggerated as a ball hog chucker

PG13 played like a guy who was brought in to keep them contending. I’d say he made some money tonight - but that only applies if he stays in OKC.

Jazz are going to have to overcome the fact that they’re built for defense, with multiple guys who aren’t know for being great shooters and getting big minutes out of two rookies.

Paul George and Russell Westbrook combined for 65 points, 20 rebounds and Russ had 8 assists. That’s hard to overcome when Donovan is the only starter to get over 15 points and double digit rebounds. He needs guys around him to step up. Period.

Something tells me that Burks is more a playoff type of player than Ingles, O'Neale and Rubio. Neto and Udoh should get some minutes too.

If they knock down those threes. . . it could’ve been interesting to finish out. Jazz simply don’t have enough consistent shooting this year. You have to hit wide open 3s.

Also. . . Donovan got a double double tonight. His role on the team limits his rebounds and assists opportunities. He played really well for a rookie to go for 27/10/3 in his first playoff game with how much focus OKC gave him.

It may not be this year, but tonight bodes well for Mitchell going forward.

Foh man. Royce earned his place on the floor with defense this year. Its been apparent all season long.
Yup, you avoided the question, so obviously don't have evidence to back up your claim.
It's the playoffs. You make adjustments according to the team you're facing.
