WOJ: Korver to Jazz for Burks and 2 second rounders

Anyway, I echo the frustration that this won’t change the Jazz’s fortune as much as it could and should because the starting lineup is still ****ing non-sense.

Korver doesn't have that kind of gravity. He's an opportunist sharp shooter. Not Steph Curry. And he'll share the floor with Mitchell for only a few minutes a night since he won't start.

If he doesn't have that kind of gravity anymore then this trade was huge! Just throw the ball to an open Korver every time down the floor. We wouldn't need him for more than 15 minutes per night, because we'd be blowing everyone out.

Well, we lost some bench scoring. Bench scoring helps too. Korver will miss some games due to injuries (did I mention he's old?), and average less than 20 minutes in the games he plays. He also doesn't provide much beside hitting a three or two a game.

If it was some random player with Korver's production and age, you'd hear a collective ''meh'.

He could be a minor positive off the bench if the Jazz have more changes in mind. But for now, he doesn't really matter.

He’s more durable than AB... I know he’s old but he doesn’t really get hurt. Played 73 games last year and I believe he missed 7 games because of the tragic death of his brother.

ABs production had fallen hard after his initial hot streak... we’ve seen it before. Even when Korver isn’t hitting he provides a ton of value when on the floor. If you look at Joes raw number or per 36 they are alright but we all know how impactful he is.

Last year Korver was 4th among SGs in RPM... he will have a greater impact than AB.

He’s old now... he has to read the paper and take his fiber before he gets his shot off. His production has fallen waaaaaay off to just above his career averages. He’s not Steph or Klay... So who cares.

Hasn't Korver been sitting out this week due to injury? I hope he's a good addition to the team, and I hope Burks has a wonderful time in Cleveland.

And FWIW, I think Burks is better looking. I've just never been an Ashton Kutcher fan.

I read somewhere that they have been trying to finish the paperwork so he could play in Charlotte so I don't think there is an injury.

The only injury in Cleveland is Tankitis... if you are good at basketball and can win games you getting on the injury report.
