Break that down for us without using +/- which is a flawed measure.

Exum played half as many minutes and had 2 assists to Rubio's 3
They both had 2 turnovers
Rubio shot 3-7, Exum 2-4
They both have 1 rebound
Exum played with mostly the 2nd unit whereas Rubio played mostly with the starters

How can anyone say that it's a clear decision that Rubio is outplaying Exum? Sure, he might have a very slight edge tonight, but neither is worth praising or bashing.

If anything, statistically Exum was the better player in the first half.
And this is a game where playing against starters or bench players doesn't really matter since all the Cavs suck.
