I'm glad Rubio stays, he's a jazzman.
What makes you think he is a Jazzman?
We don't need such soft players, we want talented players with winning mentality.

Not much to say about Jabari but I do agree that Porter is way too overpaid for a 3D player. Glad we didn't trade for himDid somebody tell the Bulls that Otto Porter only averaged 12 and 6?
You were getting more than that from Jabari playing limited minutes.
No, we can't. In order for an offer sheet to be submitted, a team has to have the cap space for that player. So Ricky's cap hold and Favors' cap hold would need to be cleared off the books - i.e renounced. I guess you could then turn around a sign one or the other with the cap space you used for Satoransky if the offer was matched. But then you're ******. You only have remaining cap space and the lesser exception and vet minimum deals to fill out the roster. And even if WAS is crazy enough to match our offer sheet, we can still resign Rubio cuz he's an expiring, not TO. There's nothing we need to renounce here. Favs is a different story though. But I'm sure DL has plans on him as well. He needs to.
Maybe Memo, but not Boozer. Boozer was a legit starter averaging nearly 16/11) and ready to take on even more. He was just in the shadow of Lebron and had zero plays called for him. He had a trip scheduled for Denver right after Utah until KOC gave him an offer he couldn't refuse. Utah got Boozer and, IIRC, Denver signed KMart. Cleveland only won 35 games, but I'm not sure you could necessarily call his stats "empty."Has he not played limited min, do you think we've got a chance to get him to leave Washington for Utah? I mean, serious question here. I know it's always gonna be hit or miss when it comes to players like Hezonja or Satoransky. But if it wasn't so difficult for us to land established stars, do you think we're even gonna have this conversation in the first place? Of course I want Kawhi, Klay, KD in the summer if you ask me. But we gotta be realistic here.
I understand you've got your doubts on Sato but so are people here asking "Booz who?" or "Memo who?" when we signed them both 15 years ago. They may have played limited minutes, may have put up empty stats on a bad team, but have we not taken a shot on both these guys, we wouldn't have made a such deep playoff run 10 yr ago.
What happened in the 2nd half? He finished 7/11/9. Still a good game.Jabari going to get a triple double his first game.
8 boards and 7 assists in the first half.

Then f** it. Renounce them both. I mean the majority of us on this forum would prefer to go that route anyways. I'd feel sorry for Favs but Ricky is as good as gone. Again it still depends on how well we finish this season, but as things stand we definitely have to bring some changes to this team as all of our west conference opponents not named the Suns, Clippers, Spurs and Pels have gotten better. And it always comes with risks as we are doing it.No, we can't. In order for an offer sheet to be submitted, a team has to have the cap space for that player. Again it's the risk thing we are talking about. As a small market team, it's inevitable for us to take some risk at bringing in guys that aren't established stars yet (i.e. KD, Klay. etc) but have the potential to evolve into stars in the future. These are always gonna be hit or miss but haven proven time and time again to be an effective way for teams like us to get better. Heck, we did that in the worst way by overpaying Dante in the summer. I don't know why people are having trouble with taking a flyer on a guy like Sato cuz whoever the better alternatives are, we ain't getting them.Maybe Memo, but not Boozer. We did to Detroit what Portland did to us with Wesley Matthews. WE offered Memo more than Detroit was willing to pay. Okur was avergaing 10/6 in 22 mins/per. So a little bit of a gamble, but not too much. He had already shown he was a competent 3PT threat (37%). He was a valuable reserve on a 54-win team. Not empty stats.
We’re coming out with Kevin Love. And we’re probably sending out a first and second for it.We should have at least traded Sefolosha's expiring contract (possibly Udoh too) for an asset. Our cupboard is so bare asset wise this summer. I don't think we could even figure out a way to trade for a max guy this summer if that option became available. I can't believe we went all in on this free agency. Such a bad call.
Love is just another glorified version of melo at this point
you mean averaging 16 pints on 31% shooting with a whopping -4.7 BPM in the five games while he's on the court? melo actually did better with OKC last year. not to mention he's the very definition of "injury prone", no thanksSince when? He just came back from injury, and last time he played (before injury), he was still quite good.

tiny sample size, yes. but still can't negate all the negatives on him. the jazz should look for upside players on their way up, not some washed-up stars used-to-be on their way down. unless it comes at a cheap price like Iso-Joe a couple of years ago, which clearly isn't the case with Love's ridiculous contract. That's a tiny *** sample where his shot didn't fall. Last season he played well. We shouldn't make sweeping conclusions based on a 100 minutes of play time.
