We are awesome...
I dont understand yours mentality. We have one team, Okc have stars with pretensions.
Rubio dont lost the game. Or Rudy, or Favors, or Mitchell, or Ingles, or Korver... In Utah, we have all lost.

You have to believe in this team, this is the team that took us to conference semifinals when nobody was betting on them.

Restore your faith.

Checking the box score I see jingles played 46 minutes. That has to be a career high. (And it was the highest on the entire team)
Royce played 17 minutes
Korver played 11 minutes

Rubio played 41 minutes
Neto played 12 minutes. (Raul was a +15 in this game. Second highest on the team behind favors +16)

Hindsight is 20/20 but seems like something should have been a bit different with the rotations.

Wouldn’t you say jingles played such heavy minutes in order to intitiate the offense because Rubio was so ineffective? Our margin for error is so thin that we just can’t afford to have Rubio play so poorly. His ineffectiveness puts a strain on everyone else.

If we had Conley, we would’ve won easily last night.

I don’t think people realize how bad it is for anyone, especially the PG, to have 8 turnovers. His job is specifically to take care of the ball.

OKC got better talent. Much better. Jazz need to play to their players basketball limits and beyond. That's hard to do. Mistakes appears. It's the result of trying to overperform your own talent. Sometimes you get into a good flow and it works, but most of the time you are killed by your own mistakes. This season goal was to survive a really hard schedule to get in position for a final playoff push with an relatively easy final stretch. That's exactly where we are.

Biggest thing I got from this game is that Mitchell needs help. He’s expected to be super human in these close games against a team as talented as OKC. Had he been superhuman last night the jazz win. The problem is he can’t be expected to be superhuman in just his second season. PG scored whenever he wanted, and playing at a superstar level all season for the first time. Before this year I felt he was just your typical allstar level player. It gives me hope Mitchell will get there.

Mitchell will evolve and will have a chance to be a star player. During the proccess, Jazz organization and coaching staff will evolve too, and hopefully learn what type of complimentary players he needs and what type of sets will be the better for Donovan to utilize all his skillset without exhausting him. It's a multilayer proccess.
A good example of a bad way to run such a proccess (a bade stretch that still today is taking a toll from the Jazz) were the Corbin years with FO pointing one way, coaching staff looking the other way and ownership trying to rregroup after LHM.
I hope this time all the pieces learn how to get together and make good, educated and well timed desicions.

One outcome of this game is obvious. There is always worry of getting "rusty" during the all-star break. I think one thing that hasn't gotten rusty is the ability of fans to overreact. We played a great team on their floor and their two all stars needed their best games to beat us in double overtime. We're going to be okay.

Instead of pretty much strictly iso for Mitchell in OT I'd have liked to see them run more sets.
Did you follow the game? Not passing the ball reduced the risk of a stupid turnover.

But if you’re relegating Rubio to camping out off-ball, why is he even in the game? I get that having Korver in while Westbrook and PG are on the floor puts him in a likely-iso situation, but when it was just PG and everyone’s legs were shot, is Korver really any kind of liability? Jazz needed a calm hand and a scoring threat and just forgot they had one.

Or they are coddling Ricky’s psyche with extra-effort.
