does anyone know what Karl Malone has to say on the topic?
WWKMD?does anyone know what Karl Malone has to say on the topic?
WWKMD?
I agree, I think he'd be much more effective playing with the starters. When he's in with the second unit he doesn't get hardly any open looks from 3 and there's no one for him to run pick and roll with.
"Wear the other team’s starters down through ball movement."
That's exactly what Rubio was doing last year and why we won 18 of 20 games to end the season!
Not sure why you quoted me, but we actually only won 15 of 20 to end the season.
We went 18-6 for our last 24 games and two of those losses were the 2nd of back to backs, one in overtime and the other we lost by 3 points! And if you think Rubio was the downfall of our poor showing in the playoffs your blind in one eye and can't see out of the other! He had a great playoff series for the most part and we lost because of poor outside shooting by Donovan and others!
You son of a bitch. You actually made me laugh.WWKMD?
This. Even if we take a worst case scenario and say he’s significantly declined, then 2/3 is pretty significant decline. But also a pretty significant upgrade for us.Bog has been a monster for the Jazz so far, a Bog Monster.
Conely could be 2/3rds the player he's been in the past and I'd be pretty ****ing excited for this Jazz team. Right now he's 1/100th the player, and there's just no way that's going to continue. His attitude is good, he seems bought in and has good chemistry. I'll start to worry when his body language indicates he doesn't care, or there are signs of chemistry issues, or he just flat out starts blaming the Jazz and his teammates for his struggles. Until that happens I'm 100% sure he's going to start being Mike Conley pretty soon. When that happens I think the Jazz are going to be an exciting team. As exciting as they've ever been.
There was poor shooting all around. But you obviously didnt watch those games. Rubio was literally not guarded in the playoffs. They dared him to shoot and we were forced to play 4v5 on offense. Our team won that many games in spite of Rubio, not because of him. Its obvious how much better we are without him already. Wait until our team gets used to playing together.
Career numbers arent close for the two. Conley will come back to shooting his normal percentages when he stops having to overthink the offense and gets his legs back under him.
Not sure why I am discussing the Jazz with someone that just read box scores though.
