The “I’m a Mike Conley hating bitch” list

does anyone know what Karl Malone has to say on the topic?

I agree, I think he'd be much more effective playing with the starters. When he's in with the second unit he doesn't get hardly any open looks from 3 and there's no one for him to run pick and roll with.

"Wear the other team’s starters down through ball movement."

That's exactly what Rubio was doing last year and why we won 18 of 20 games to end the season!

Not sure why you quoted me, but we actually only won 15 of 20 to end the season.

We went 18-6 for our last 24 games and two of those losses were the 2nd of back to backs, one in overtime and the other we lost by 3 points! And if you think Rubio was the downfall of our poor showing in the playoffs your blind in one eye and can't see out of the other! He had a great playoff series for the most part and we lost because of poor outside shooting by Donovan and others!

There was poor shooting all around. But you obviously didnt watch those games. Rubio was literally not guarded in the playoffs. They dared him to shoot and we were forced to play 4v5 on offense. Our team won that many games in spite of Rubio, not because of him. Its obvious how much better we are without him already. Wait until our team gets used to playing together.

Career numbers arent close for the two. Conley will come back to shooting his normal percentages when he stops having to overthink the offense and gets his legs back under him.

Not sure why I am discussing the Jazz with someone that just read box scores though.

I understand the importance of being positive, upbeat, optimistic, the glass half full, etc.

What I don't understand is you dudes who get your panties in a wad when people call an ace-an-ace or say things like how they are.

For example, if I say, "Mike Conley sucks donkey balls."

Some of you all take it as a universal statement, offensive, and deny it like you're a gawd damn weather forecaster.

I remember saying Mitchell looked horrible, slow, confused (after praising him in summer league) based off of his first five to seven games. He 100% did. I never said he was going to continue to be that way, I just said what I observed which was 100% reality.

Sensitive forecasting breaches were upset with it. I do admit to saying Mitchell looked slow and unathletic during his miserable first 5 games because he looked great during summer league. That said, Mitchell blew his first 5 to 7 games, but damn, he was a rookie. I was saying he blew to get a reaction and holding on to optimism more than anything.

Mike Conley has simply inexcusably sucked *** for 4 games. If it hurts your sensitive feelings to say so, then stop being a prideful, expectation entitled and forgiving lil bitch.

Saying Conley has sucked doesn't mean you're a gawd damn weather forecaster. It means what you've observed. Obviously, dude can improve (only can from this point) but you're the bitch for calling those critical of his game at this point a bitch. 100%

Bitch.

Another thing...

Memo to you dumbasses - this is a Utah Jazz fandom forum. When you say **** like you're going to make someone "eat crow" do you realize how dumb your brag is?

How bold of you to say a fan of the Utah Jazz is wrong about a player for the Utah Jazz and they were way wrong. Must be hard for that fan to see that player succeed. You so got them, weather sooth sayer.

Imma fix Conley. I have him on my fantasy team, and obviously he's been horrible, so I've now benched him for the next game.

Uh it just means ppl are being idiotic criticising a player for a bad period of adjustment when he’s got a whole career saying that’s not who he is. Like those getting all wound up about Bogey shooting like crap in the preseason.

Like you’re some rocket scientist observing that Mike Conley is playing like crap atm. Trying to prove that somehow you know that all of a sudden that’s who he is. Just dumb garbage being spewed. If you don’t like being called out for your lack of support and belief in our good players ... well you’re a sourpuss. Get over yourself and your misguided belief that you can bitch all you like without being challenged.

Tonight would be a great game for Conley to break out. Bog is going to have to have a big game for us to beat the clippers.

Bog has been a monster for the Jazz so far, a Bog Monster.

Conely could be 2/3rds the player he's been in the past and I'd be pretty ****ing excited for this Jazz team. Right now he's 1/100th the player, and there's just no way that's going to continue. His attitude is good, he seems bought in and has good chemistry. I'll start to worry when his body language indicates he doesn't care, or there are signs of chemistry issues, or he just flat out starts blaming the Jazz and his teammates for his struggles. Until that happens I'm 100% sure he's going to start being Mike Conley pretty soon. When that happens I think the Jazz are going to be an exciting team. As exciting as they've ever been.

This. Even if we take a worst case scenario and say he’s significantly declined, then 2/3 is pretty significant decline. But also a pretty significant upgrade for us.

I saw all four games with Houston, and unlike you....I had my eyes opened when watching! It was Donovan and his poor shot selection and forced shots that lost that series, not Rubio! Say what you want but it was Rubio and his ball movement and slick passing that was responsible for that 18-6 record during the end of last season and the same with the close games and win against Houston in that 1st round. On the other hand, Donovan and his atrocious shooting that made us look pathetically flawed! One game he was 3-22 and another 5-27!
