Oni is a prime example. He is suppose to be our best on ball defender but he gets no time because he clanks 3pts most of the time. You have to be able to make shots. I know it is tough to play after sitting all game but if you want to earn some playing time give Quinn a reason to play you. Make a shot every once in a while.

He hasn't shoot a ton but his 3 point percentage is fine.

Jazz only won by 18 after leading by 40 points. Now I know why Quinn never puts this guys in when we are up 20 points with 3 minutes to play. They would lose the lead. Absolutely the most pathetic effort I have seen from our bench guys ever. Man I do not know why I am getting so worked up but these guys are professional and should not waste an opportunity like this because they may never get one.

That was not statistically true for last year. He shot slightly better in regular rotation minutes.

We gotta get better at finding talents. No way around it. Trying to make something out of nothing with these scrubs just ain't gonna cut it. Especially after Ingles/Bojan/Conley fall off or leave us.

Sorry but I just do not see Oni 's potential. I want him to be a role player but I just do not see it. Niang is just not my cup of tea. I think Jazz nation over rate him. Shaq has done nothing to warrant signing him. I like Udoka but he is a project but I think he has potential. I wish Hughes would have been available because he is a shot creator.

Hughes has a bum ankle but that effort and results by the pine riders was very poor.

Y’all: just relax about the scrubs. They aren’t ever gonna play regular minutes unless we have a catastrophe. And if that comes to pass then it doesn’t really matter anyways, now does it?

They suck as a unit doesn't mean they suck individually. For the most part their all low usage guys who can play defense and move the ball, occasionally hitting the open three. When they're all playing together there being asked to create for themselves leading to more contested shots and running into traffic, which in turn is affecting their defense as they're over helping. Oni and Morgan have already proven to be much more effective NBA players when a part of the regular rotation, same applies to Niang who with a more collapsed defense struggled to get his shot off cleanly.

Shaq Harrison btw is absolutely clueless when it comes to running an offense. Probably not much of a surprise that they looked better in preseason when NWG was running the third unit combined with Hughes who is the only player amongst the scrubs capable of creating for himself.

It's funny that if we were losing games right now, the same posters hating on the scrubs would be the same ones clamoring for them to play more.
