And on the night The Utah Jazz won their first ever championship there was a full moon - and only one dawg was barking - the Bawse Dawg.

It will really suck if conley is out. It could be argued he was our best player in round one (I think he was) and definitely our best shooter.
But......
Against the clippers it might not be the worst think to start the game hiding Mitchell on the defense on the clippers point guard and then having Royce on Leonard and Ingles on Paul George.

Also, I think what really hurts royce is when he has to guard smaller quicker guys that run all over the place. I think Royce gets worn down. I don't think Leonard runs as many miles on the court as the Steph curry/Damian Lillard types.
This matchup should be just what Royce is made for. He needs to have a good series defensively.

Unfortunately, perhaps, we are NOT havaing a full moon this whole series. About as moonless as it can get. In a few days we will have a sunset sliver about 9 pm. New moon phase.

So we need that fake moon.

I'd be mad if I were on the East Coast, but I'm loving these 8 PM start times. It's perfect for me. My son goes to bed about that time, and I can DVR the first half hour or so and be caught up by the 4th quarter.

I sure as hell hope we are going to play some zone defense if they go small. We dabbled with it but Dallas using Boban in the middle of the zone kinda messed with them... I have to imagine Rudy would be better.

This gonna be a really tough test for our guys... are we a cute story like a cross between the Bucks and Blazers or are we a real contender? This is Rudy's chance to shut up all the haters that say he gets played off the court... if they go small he should eat down low.
