Boozer Agrees to Terms With Bulls (5 yrs/80 mil)

Jazz GM Kevin O'Connor on Paul Millsap stepping into Boozer's role: "That's why we signed him a year ago."
O'Connor on Boozer: "We wish Carlos the best. This past year he had a great year for us and helped us as a team..."....and obviously we helped him."

Jazz can frame sign-and-trade conversation with Chicago as potentially enabling them to sign a player away from an Eastern Conf. team.

The other thing is Booze needs an S&T if he wants the 10 percent raises. Chicago and Boozer could have several different scenarios playing out as they wait for Lebron to sign. My guess is Booze has "agreed" to work for the deal they've agreed on in principal, but Chicago has "agreed" that they will do everything they can to get him the 10 percent raises and/or the 6th year (though I doubt they agreed to the 6th year.)

Well if Lebron signs with the Bulls we can forget winning a championship in the next 5 years.

I think the lakers are still more of a threat to us even if lebron goes to the bulls. The east will finally understand how the western teams felt like the last 2 years

And we were going to win a championship with Boozer?

no lol, i'm glad he's gone.

Just let him walk the last thing we need is Deng on the books, we may be worse this season but in the long run it will pay off. This year is going to go a long way in sorting out the future of the team and the direction they are going to go, at least after the past two years of sitting in neutral with this team we can finally get some change, it may turn out to be very bad but at least things are going to be different.

This is going to be interesting for Boozer in Chicago, he's already going in there with a negative stigma of being plan B, or plan C or whatever he was exactly, those fans are going to be on him even before they really understand what type of player Boozer really is.

Hahaha @ SloanFail.

SUBMIT TO THE DOLLAR SIGNS!!!

At least I'm not a complete moron who prefers AK simply because he considers himself Mormon. You ****ing cult brainwashed tool.

FO blew it when they turned down AK for Marion in 2007. And again when they signed Memo to an extension. Now this. LOL @ THE FO.

Milsap is a stud, but I don't see him bringing us a championship. Jazz have some work to do to put together a true Championship team. Lets hope they find them quick so D-Will sticks around!

AK considers himself a Mo', huh? I guess I better get back to church, because that is news to me! I would post more, but I'm late for our weekly 'meeting', and I'm in charge of the lambs tonight.

How does this news interact with the possibility of resigning Korver?

If we spend more than 4M per year on Korver, you won't see me post here for the entire season. YOU HAVE MY WORD. Seriously, it will be an absolute ****ing joke if we throw cash at this kid.
