Trade deadline discussion

You stand by it? You just retracted it a few post ago, but now you going back to it? Make up your mind.

We would have won Game 1 of that series if Mitchell crosses halfcourt, that's for sure lmao.
I stand by the fact that we might have been just as successful or better with Jae and all the guys we lost in the Conley deal.

Not to mention there is no guarantee Grayson Allen ever develops in Utah given how Quin treats guys in his doghouse once they have shown they cant play defense.

The **** you makeup as a preferred scenario to Conley is make believe BS.

Why would he have left when he would have been a starter on a team that made it to the Western Conference Finals?
He wouldnt start over any of the starters...

Do you forget how bad Jae was on Utah in his last year? It was an awful fit. Do you even remember most of his games in the Houston series? Or how bad he was in the OKC series?

You want to rail against Conley in the playoffs so ****ing hard you put Jae on this pedestal but you obviously have some short term memory loss, are extremely stupid, or are a dishonest actor in this argument.

Let's just call a truce on this shall we? We are clearly on different sides of this debate.

Let's just see how this season pans out, what Mike does and we can go from there. You cool with that?

Jae Crowder would have like 5 playoffs games where he shot 1/8 from the field in a row, then have one really good game, then go back to making two shots. (all wide open looks too)

He was horrendous for Utah in the playoffs. But Lopo only cares about that if he can use it against Conley missing games.

I don't want to rail on Conley. I want to put it in perspective. That's all.

Defense and heart like Jae's never has an off night.

The only thing I have been wrong about is debating with you on the trade deadline thread 3 days before the deadline.

EVERYBODY - I'm sorry to be part of the reason this thread got compromised today. I'm sorry.

You should be sorry for any time you have spoke about Conley. Super trash takes. You are the Skip Bayless of JF.

But any logical person knows that the Conley trade cost us more than Jae. It cost us Rubio, and Grayson and 1st round picks.
And 30mil in cap space, which resulted in us giving away one 1st and seven 2nds in the four windows since the Conley trade for salary dumps. It would've been a much better trade if Conley was getting paid fairly instead of being on the big fat contract that ties your hands

People, please let's talk about trade deadline not Conley deal we made years ago. That deal was years ago, get used to it. And please don't react to people who trolls every thread with his stupid ideas.

Grant or Barnes? Which one you prefer? Why?

Grant - I think he's better

I didn't realize that Boston was 14-6 since December 31. They have gone from play in team to the 6 seed. They are only a few games away from being a home team in the East.

If I was them, I think I'd just keep Smart and Richardson for now.

Glad you asked: Both.

You ready for some full circle ****?
-Conley in a three-team for Barnes.
-Turn Clarkson and Bogey into Grant somehow
-Both expire next off-season; head into 2023 free agency targeting Jaylen Brown with Grant, Barnes, and Wood as pivot targets if that doesn’t work out.

I always kinda thought the rush to have them salary dump Smart was premature. Even if it was Ingles and a 1st round pick that doesn't do a lot for them.

They have no urgency to do a deal that is okay-ish. They can do that deal in the offseason if they want. Gonna have to wow them right now or they wait.

I think this is a bit unrealistic but still interesting.
