I personally think these moves are questionable (at best).

A young team being exposed to such cancers as Tinsley and Howard historically isn't smart. Just ask Porty how that turned out a few years ago...

While we're at it, think we could bring Sheed out of retirement? Maybe talk AI to leave wherever he is and come back here? Or maybe we could bring in Stevie Jackson?

I just wonder... Why?

IF we ever actually end up being good in the next few years, these two vets will be that much closer to retirement/leaving.

Why aren't we concentrating on developing our younger guys? If we suck, then we end up having a higher draft pick(s).

If Howard and Tinsley don't suck and actually produce (while taking away minutes from our younger players), we're probably out of the playoffs. And even if we get in, we're probably no better than a 6 seed.

soooo... I struggle to see the long-term pros with this..... someone enlighten me.

Didn't Sheed help win 2 championships? Such a cancer.

Same with Steven Jackson. I think Duncan called him one of the best teammates he has ever had. Such a cancer.

The Tinsley/Howard combo isn't completely reassuring, two screwballs can take down a roster, but if they can keep their heads on straight they are an upgrade over Price and Paul Carter.

Both had solid vets and respected head coaches to keep those two in line... That was about the only time those dudes had real success.

When those two haven't had the solid vets or respected head coaches.... Well... Just ask their former teams how that went...
