Bad reviews.I'm pretty excited for the Man Who Fell To Earth. Chiwetel Ejiofor, Bill Nighy (as the character Bowie originated in the original movie and then Michael C Hall continued in the Broadway musical), Jimmi Simpson, Kate Mulgrew... And every episode has a David Bowie song for its title.
They don't look that bad. 85% Fresh.Bad reviews.
I think we have just passed a golden age, and there's going to be a bit of a comedown for a few years. Still some good stuff, but then there's everything that is just trying to copy the good stuff. Like, Ozark was really good, but it was obviously trying to be Breaking Bad with better scenery. They even cast an actor who is mostly known for comedy as the lead.TV is so mediocre right now. Like pretty bad.
We're saving this for when my sister comes into town since in the early 90s the three of us were pretty avid KITH fans. My wife is really really looking forward to watching this.Only 1 episode in, but the new Kids In The Hall is fantastic. Everything you wanted from them, plus swearing and full frontal old man nudity! No, I'm not kidding.
I mean, it IS KITH, so you can watch it over and over and over. We're saving this for when my sister comes into town since in the early 90s the three of us were pretty avid KITH fans. My wife is really really looking forward to watching this.

I forgot It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Hadn't heard of "We Own This City" but looks like it deserves a go.Anyone watch We Own This City?
Same people who did The Wire. About the corrupt gun trace task force in Baltimore and the culprits involved. Really really good. Bernthal (who is phenomenal in everything I’ve ever seen him and still say should’ve played the younger Deniro in The Irishman, eff the awful technology) is amazing in it. So freakin good.
I need to finish Severance but as solid as it was, didn’t feel like continuing to watch it. It felt too similar to other shows I’ve seen. Maniac to name one.
I started The Staircase but had seen the doc about the case and was a little underwhelmed by the former. Firth is a great actor but he didn’t ham up the role enough (if you’ve seen the doc, the accused is quite the character) and actually felt a little flat to me. Most of the characters did which was part of the problem.
I’m all caught up on Barry which never disappoints. Such a uniquely original show. Everything about it feels fresh which I need after watching thousands upon thousands of movies and shows.

I really enjoyed the performances and cinematography in Severance. The mystery has kept my attention through the first season but I have a bad feeling it's going to be a pretty big let down at some point.
