Gobert to Minnesota

I see a lot of folks on twitter saying how much they hate Bev... look he may not stay on our roster... but best believe he will be a favorite mid way through his first quarter with us. He's hilarious to me... it goes too far sometimes... but still so fun.

Also this trade made it far harder for anyone to get Kevin Durant.

Gobert set the bar for what a star should get. You trade Durant for less and you look terrible.
Like the house across the street selling for 50% more than asking price.

Suns were almost about to close on KD for Bridges, Johnson, 4 firsts and 3 swaps... then this happened and Brooklyn was like "we want all that and Booker".

This is a really good point. If Gobert got that many firsts, how many is Brooklyn going to ask for? 7 or 8?

Well they cant that many lmao, but you cant just trade KD for 3 picks, Bridges, and Jae Crowder (or whatever it was going to be)

Not to mention the Wolves opened up minutes for Jaylen Nowell too, who was excellent in the 2nd half of the season. They are a truly stacked team.

Curious to see if they are done or if they want to move D-Lo for something cheaper that is under contract for longer.

Eff... I forgot about him in my excitement. He is quite good and quite young.

RealGM Timberwolves message board has plenty of despair and anger over trade. Some support it, to be fair, and others neutral. Mentions of Trader Dan striking again.
