I watched the first season and I was kind of meh on it then. Just didn't grab me. Seemed to be more style over substance. Just wasn't for me.Peaky Blinders new season has started. I'm two episodes in and I'm meh on it so far.

It wasn't set in Ireland.I watched five minutes and felt like that. Let’s have gangsters but set it in Ireland! Americans love that stuff. Ya know what else they love? Dark and gritty!
England, Wales whatever. Doesn’t matter. Felt lame. Now that Dutch East India Trading Company one with Hardy intrigued me but I don’t think it got great reviews. It wasn't set in Ireland.
The level of absolute ignorance you're expressing is mindboggling.England, Wales whatever. Doesn’t matter.

It's on my listNo fans of Ozark? Unlike some of these Breaking Bad inspired series, this to me is the one that captures the true angst and paranoia of the illicit drug trade. Marty and Wendy Byrde and family are perceived locally and politically as royalty with two casinos, a strip club, a funeral parlor and a foundation that finances and operates rehab facilities and yet when kingpin Navarro or his nephew make demands (such as crime scene and surveillance sanitization, laundering or extortion) they jump to attention like obedient sex slaves. They’re rich and influential and yet continually compromising themselves and others just to survive the volatile whims of their ruthless masters. Rings true and the characters and performances are superb. Just don’t get attached to any of the support cast cause they’re dropping like flies.
I was hooked when I watched it, and eagerly awaited seasons 3 and 4. Worth every minute two times over.No fans of Ozark? Yeah, almost through season four, and mourning the loss of Wyatt Langmore. That poor baby Zeke, I mean I’d take him but it’s a total death sentence!I was hooked when I watched it, and eagerly awaited seasons 3 and 4. Worth every minute two times over.
I reaaaaaly didn't like the very end.Yeah, almost through season four, and mourning the loss of Wyatt Langmore. That poor baby Zeke, I mean I’d take him but it’s a total death sentence!

I hated Ruth's death, and the fact that it was devoid of meaning. Like, she should have either pointed Camilla at the Byrdes or pointed her away from them as a final act of either revenge or grace, but instead, it was just a big "F*** you.*
I hated that the PI who should be the smartest person there commits a crime to get the evidence, and then sticks around to tell THE DRUG KINGPINS about it. Just stupid. And then they're saved by their kid killing him in cold blood. It was not narratively satisfying.
Okay no spoiler alerts but that’s it then, no more seasons?I reaaaaaly didn't like the very end.

While I disagree on one aspect (I think that person's fate was sealed after Chicago), I agree about the PI.I reaaaaaly didn't like the very end.

Correct.Okay no spoiler alerts but that’s it then, no more seasons?
It's not THAT it happened, it's HOW it happened. While I disagree on one aspect (I think that person's fate was sealed after Chicago), I agree about the PI.
Is it about like a grizzly or something? The Bear is the best new show on tv, probably in a couple years. Amazing if you haven’t seen it.
