What's new

Game Thread Nov 04, 2022 08:30PM MT: Jazz at Lakers

Free agency is pretty awful next offseason. Jazz should be using smart trades and the draft to improve.

Disagree. From a Jazz POV it doesn't get much better. Don't get me wrong it's a horrible free agency group if you're aiming for a superstar which the Jazz have no chance at attracting any year but for the next level of player who we might have a chance at we can probably afford to overpay knowing that the salary cap is expected to rise significantly in the coming years.

Just watch replay as wife win ( paper/scissor.....) and we have to go out. What a game, copy paste of some of our games this year. Good shooting, energy, team effort with some individuals goods performances ( Lauri, Colin, Mike).....quite san easy win. Never been worry while watching. This team definitly much more fun to watch than last year team.

The fact we won has me content beyond belief. Also, our new team knows how to not turn the ball over. Only 8 turnovers! Myaaaaaaah!!!

laker crowd was dancing crazy on dance cam in between timeouts until the last one, nobody was dancing and all were sitting with a punched in the gut look on their faces. imlovinit

That was a joyful experience. Really fun game to watch.

Also, has Lebron finally hit the wall? His legs seems gone last night. The quickness and bounce weren’t there. Honestly reminded me of Malone in the 2000s when he no longer has the explosiveness and couldn’t carry a team anymore. Sure, he might end up with 20 pts. But they were quiet pts and mostly from jumpers, not posting up down low and dunking on anybody.

Ya he looked tired. A lot of shots hitting front rim.

I must admit there was a moment when the mocking and hate on Westbrook reached its peak I begun to feel sorry for him. But seeing him play well and immediately acting arrogant quickly cured that. I am happy we won despite his good effort and there is no excuse for Lakers. Great game!

I felt the same way. The hate was getting crazy but then you see the way he reacts and you can't help but think he deserves it.

I must admit I never felt bad for Westbrick.

That’s why they make the trade. Only a sophomore in the league, just needs a little time with the shot whisperer, Hornacek.
The thunder would never do that trade. They love Giddey and there is no doubt in my mind he will end up being a solid 3pt shooter in the near future.
